    Hey,

So I used to post all the time back in the day on the Warren Ellis delphi forums under the name travisdearly. I read this forum from time to time and i've been meaning to set up an account and jump on here.

I had a question though. I see a thread for comic pro's to let you know what they have going on. I was wandering for those not in the biz could we post something.

Reason being is my writing partner and I have a comic book we've been working on with this fantastic artist, Michael Mayne. It's creator-owned, we've put our own money and time into it and right now it's being lettered by Josh Krach. I believe he's on the last 4 pages.

We have a facebook page for the comic. Ive posted up all 23 pages, penciled and inked (sans lettering) there and some early lettered pages. I was wandering if I could post some links here and maybe a few non lettered pages and the cover.

The comic is called Massively Effective hence the title of this thread and it'd be (if everything works out) a series of mini series. It's about a Laurel and Hardy type duo who used to be b-level super heroes (think booster gold and blue beetle) then retired young and opened a comic shop and after awhile decide to try their hand at the hero thing one more time. We are currently talking to a very cool publisher about the book.

It basically mixes my love of b-movies, saturday morning cartoons, 80's black and white comics, and flicks like Big Trouble in Little China and Buckaroo Banzai.

If this is not cool then I understand and I do plan on posting here frequently. I didn't create an account just to pimp my comic.

I'm gonna start off by posting the cover for the first issue. Besides drawing the entire first issue. Michael did the cover and colored it as well.

Later on I will post links to the facebook page and post some pages from the book.

    Here's the cover.

    Hey,

Thought I'd add a couple of lettered pages from the bath of proofs the letterer sent me. There is some stuff I've gone in and changed based on how it actually reads when looking at an actual comic (and there is a mistake in a panel, but again, proofs). But I hope you enjoy this early look and have enjoyed the rest.

P.S. I had so save them as gifs to get em on photobucket so pic quality is lower than usual.
