    To do list:

    * open a special introduction thread for the various novelists and short-story writers floating around the place

    * thank Eliza Gauger for shaving off her moustache before taking her picture

    * consider arranging space for the Whitechapel musicians to have their own free-to-air netlabel

    * think about writing about comics again. It's been a while.

    * worry about what Molly Crabapple's sending in the mail.

    * consider the following traffic report from Ariana:

    We've had 6,425 Uniques in the past week-- we average 700 Uniques per weekend day, and anywhere from 1000-1500 per normal day. We had a spike on February 5th of 2,231 Uniques.

    Non-uniques, factoring repeat vistors during the day, we're getting something around 2000 visits every day, sometimes as high as 3 or 4K, depending on what you're pushing it to that day. Our peak hours are 9:00am-1:00pm PT.

    Well since its your pub table, I guess its a good spot to ask you a question. Well, two questions in fact. What is going on with Desolation Jones ? Will it be back from hiatus or it died of its natural death? Also, I just finished issue 5 of Doktor Sleepless and i'm wondering... how many issues do you have in mind for the serie if I may ask. The questions may not read properly, you would have to excuse me I have been on a steady diet of single malt scotch and Guiness for the past 5 hours.

    @Soulcraft...check out the Backmatter in Doktor Sleepless #5...the bit about #5 "taking us over the halfway point of the first volume." It sort of answers your question.

    The traffic here is...well, Z, I don't think I can state it any better than you did.

    I was hoping to get an question in. I was a large fan of Jack Cross and recently read it's finished because DC mucked it up!
    Can I ask how? and if there's any possibility we'll see Jack again?
