So through the fabulous Who Killed Bambi I discovered "Papa Sangre" - the videogame with no video.

I haven't been able to play it yet as it requires a newer model iphone than I have (3G). I'll probably download it when I have a long period of access to someone's nicer phone just to try out, as I've been really interested in weird concept videogames of late. It does cost money to buy.

Has anyone heard of this or played it before? Thoughts?

Too bad it doesn't work with ipod touch 3rd gen either. I'll have to remember try this in 2 or 3 years when I upgrade.

The game Enemy Zero had invisible enemies that "ping" in different tones and volumes depending on their distance from you. It made for a terrifying game and cool soundtrack. Ultimately, I didn't think it was that fun. That concept fleshed out and using modern technology would be interesting. The same company made another game called Real Sound that is entirely sound based, but it's in japanese. I also remember reading about a text adventure that relied on sounds to solve puzzles, but I can't recall the name.

Very interesting. The video didn't do much to spur me into buying it, but the description of it and the Dia de los Muertos theme definitely has me interested. I might end up checking it out since I'm getting an ipod touch for xmas (wooo), and I know I'm gonna end up just app/game binging for a few days. I'll return with news if I do check it out
