    Terry Moore's Echo #27 -- This series ends at #30 and I love how well everything is coming together. It's a great set and I'd highly suggest it to people that like sci-fi type stuff.

    So, I finally got the BOYS #49, after four tries. Beautiful, simply beautiful. I can't wait to see more of their initial conflict with the Seven.
    JONAH HEX #63, Jordi Bernet, Hex kills a bandit named Loco. Tortures him off-panel for a crime presented off-panel and never seen but obviously something that unnerves Hex so much, he takes Loco's eyeballs, so Jonah'll be the last thing Loco sees before he goes to hell.
    AVENGERS: CHILDREN'S CRUSADE has gorgeous artwork. Heinberg's script is nice and snarky but it's in the back seat compared to Jim Cheung's artwork. The Scarlet Witch is marrying Dr. Doom? Uh-oh.
    AVENGERS PRIME - two issues, 4&5. Lemme ask you something: when did all Marvel comics become about gossiping who slept with who? Appropos of nothing, Tony Stark asks Steve Rogers if he ever slept with Hellcat. Cap says no. Thor admits that he might have slept with her. Ho ho ho. What is this shit, Bendis? If it weren't for Alan Davis' magnificent art, this would've gone down as one of the worst comics ever.
    CAPTAIN AMERICA: HAIL HYDRA #1 - was a perfectly servicable Cap-in-WWII tale, but felt completely lacking in drama. I'm a sucker for Cap-in-WWII so I liked it but ... meh. Nice art, though.
    ULTIMATE CAPTAIN AMERICA sucked.
