@mojokingbee – awesome , particularly amazed by the lower right side portrait! Those eyes!
@emonster, bothersome in a perversely sick, never should have been drawn, good way
@kenmiller- nice monsters/ style! (both posts)

"GREAT FNORD, WE'RE SURROUNDED!" gasped the Seeing Tower on Election Day. I stayed up until 6:30 am last night posting all my new drawings, comics, and works in progress HERE, It took 2 pots of coffee, lots of mouse clicking, a little insanity, and turned out to be a really fun and memorable all nighter. (edit: forgot to mention there was pizza involved too!)

    @ ReverendJoe - beautiful work.

It's so satisfying carving. Here's a necklace of Ganesh I carved in India under instruction, over the course of a week, by the banks of the river Ganges in Varanasi.

Rethinking my remake/remodel Shadow entry. Thinking it should have been more noir and more of a teaser, maybe leave a little more to the imagination. After i posted it I thought a cool movie hook would be if you never actually got a clear look at The Shadow, almost like the audience got some of the mind clouding mojo. As long as it didn't come off as a bad version of the Benny Hill nudist sketch.

I'm trying self-imposed weekly challenges, à la Remake/Remodel; here's the result of last week, under the theme of "greek mutant bear", with the greek part being the coat, a design by Dimitris Petrou.

Whipped this out after I got home from work last night. From drawing it out to final polish in less than two hours just need to cord it.

I'd forgotten what it felt like to be motivated.

Also, @ Yoav, beautiful work. What material is that? It looks like some kind of jade to me.

@Miranda- I love that drawing! Great character! I think a self imposed challenge a la R/R is a very good thing.
@Reverend Joe, @Yoav - awesome sculptures! I haven't touched my carving tools in ages, but after seeing your work I might have to dig them out this weekend. Sculpting stuff is so good for the brain. Well done!

Here's something I drew today. It was meant to just be a warm up sketch for a larger project, but it ended up demanding more attention. The Joker is really hard to draw, I never get him right.
