You do a webcomic? Tell me about it here. Not more than one or two images, please, or else the thread takes forever to load. Don't forget the bloody link.

Relax. There are only 9000 members of Whitechapel, plus god knows how many drop-ins who aren't registered members. Only around 2500 people per day visit Whitechapel on average. Except when it's busy, or when I run links from warrenellis.com.

And they all want to read webcomics.

NOTE: this is not for people to list their favourite webcomics. We've done that before. Boring.

Yay, it's webcomics week again!

If you like Iron Age Irish epic webcomics, I'd have to say I do probably the finest Iron Age Irish epic webcomic anywhere in the world. It's called The Cattle Raid of Cooley, and it's about the teenage hero Cú Chulainn single-handedly defending Ulster, his uncle's kingdom, from an invading army from Connacht, by challenging them to defeat him in single combat before they can advance. There's conflicts of loyalty - Cú Chulainn's foster-father Fergus is part of the Connacht army and carrying on with the queen behind the king's back - ancient politics, a modicum of sex and generous helpings of violence, but it's at heart a coming-of-age tale. A page a week, every Wednesday. I'm 106 pages in and I estimate I'm no more than a third done, so if you stick it in your rss reader, you're in it for the long haul. My name is still Scott and I still do my webcomic, Angry Faerie, three times each week (Mon/Weds/Fri). I've described Angry Faerie as "Tinkerbell meets Dragonball (not Dragonball Z mind you)", as it follows the adventures of the Anger Faerie and the mythological creatures who are stuck dealing with her.

The Christmas storyline ("A Very Angry Xmas") wrapped up recently:

She's Famous Now is an anti-romantic comedy that sees a painfully nice guy pursuing his high school crush, who's now the world's most famous pop star.

For 2011 I'm dedicated to doing a year of journal comics. Not quite daily, and maybe not the most original concept, but comics five days a week (so I can work on other projects that I'll also be putting up on the site, at Apostrophe Press dot com. It's an endeavor inspired by Matthew Reidsma's journal comic "High Maintenance Machine".

Actually, I started trying to do the journal comics in November. I made it for three solid weeks, posting them up on my LJ, until the post-Thanksgiving holiday season drove me to a halt. I'm reposting those strips on a new comicpress site while I build up a little buffer of work and get the url staggering to its feet (so forgive it for being a little bare-bones). Eventually I want to get all my comics and zines up there for people to read, including the first two issues of my Catholic-upbringing-exorcist book The "Good" Catholic.

Brand new strips will begin on the 10th. Thanks for the opportunity to show work to new people, Warren.

Hi, I do a fantasy webcomic called 'Evolution.' It’s about extinction, basically. And fossilisation. And hermaphrodite demigods, and other stuff.

It’s set in Totally Not Rural South Africa and it follows around an amnesiac dinosaur spirit (essentially a minor god of dinosaurs) after it wakes up at the bottom of crevice after several million years and an earthquake. It doesn’t know where the hell it is, or what the hell it is, but it’s hungry. The first segment of the story is about it meeting up with a bird spirit and, later, a lizard spirit, and trying to decide whether or not it wants to eat its new friends.

I update in chunks, not regularly, and I've got quite a bit more lined up. Thanks for your time!

Mine is called experiMental Theatre. The official quick description is "An experiment in mental theatre, externalized in comic form."

It's cautioned as potentially containing Language, Violence, Nudity, and Weirdness. (And sometimes guest stars) As you can see below, it's done a lot looser than my usual work - a more raw brush & ink style after some of the old school undergrounds.
The storyline, i won't go into now - i'm taking my time letting it unfold and it's too soon to talk about. It's only 19 or 28 episodes in, depending on how you count. I say 19, but there were pre-strips and holiday strips pushing up the count.

We post full stories at a time, and we just wrapped up a month long theme, Tales of The Season: Christmas Comics, with a new webcomic all through December.

Hi there, I'm Cameron Stewart (from Batman and Robin, Seaguy, The Other Side, etc) but I also do a webcomic called Sin Titulo, for which I won the 2010 Eisner Award for Best Digital Comic. It's a semi-autobiographical neo-noir mystery thriller, usually described as a cross between David Lynch, Raymond Chandler, and Haruki Murakami. I haven't updated it in a while as I've been busy with my published work, but in February I will be returning to it, and working uninterrupted until it's finished. I wrote a weekly updated webcomic with artists Andrew Sides and Errol Rich Jr. called BORDER CROSSINGS. There are currently over 70 pages (3+ issues) of story online. I'm currently seeking a new artist to collaborate with on this creator owned project.

BORDER CROSSINGS is a dark marine fantasy where a salvage submarine’s strange crew must redefine freedom for their drowned world. Here are two page examples:

If you prefer comparisons it’s Firefly, Labyrinth and Perdido Street Station in a nautical steampunk mash-up. The story is also an allegory for the modern era of globalization.

We produce Fat Jed! on a bi-monthly basis and when we started we wanted to do something different. We felt that being a "web" comic it should be something a little more fitting to the medium.

The entire web site is like the comic, in the same way the Simpsons world is as crazy and as colourful as the characters. The comic itself is interactive with a pop-up book style feel, which is why there is no comic image attached (although some episodes can be embedded).

Oh, hello. I thought I might throw my hat into the ring.

I draw a webcomic called The Intrepid Girlbot, going on two years now. It's an experimental, silent, story-based comic strip with no human characters, only robots and animals. The titular character Girlbot is trying very hard to be a good little girl, but she's terrible at it. Her main companion is Raccoon #1, whom Girlbot accidentally killed and then resurrected as a cyborg.

Believe it or not, I won a Lulu for this thing last year.

i'm sometimes called h. carlian and i orchestrate a pile of scifi madness called Inhuman.

it's a serious story. a genetic chimera with a bad history is trying to define what it means to be human to himself whilst aliens and humans are scrabbling to get ahold of him since he's both an illegal bio-organism and priceless to medical science.

i colour it using watercolours and markers, which is kind of a rarity in the webcomics world i guess.

Ooh, didn't even notice this was on again.

I've expanded my webcomicking. Also, I've moved my site, so this is a good cue to introduce the new one.

First of all, there's Conny Van Ehlsing, Monster Hunter.
It's about a girl who grows up to be the best monster hunter ever. Reluctantly at first, but by the time she gets kicked out of grade school she's pretty much into it.

100 Days Journal Comic I did a journal comic for 100 days for a part of the summer 2010, I'm posting the pages. I fell behind a bit, so Mondays and Wednesdays I colored back pages. Fridays I posted other comics also colored, so there was always something on updating days.

Warren... we KEEP doing this, my friend. :-)

Warren and I first met while I was Bob Harras' intern up at Marvel and he was writing X-Calibre (not a mispelling... that was the Age of Apocalypse storyline title he did). Me fresh out of college and he freshly landed and desperately asking me where he could sneak a smoke at in the building. I won't use the colorful expression he did, as it's not a PC term in the states. A month later, he did the dialogue to the first comic I wrote... a horribly butchered What If #77... Neither one of us were happy with it and grumble to this day. To thank me, he wrote me in an issue of Thor as an abused sex slave of the enchantress... and claims I owe him a pint to this day for the dubious "honor."

Now a decade and a half later, I find out he's doing Webcomics... as am I. The wheel turns full circle it seems. So I'm happy to see him still enjoying all the medium has to offer.

So, like you I do a full page (they call it "Long format" comic) with a new page, daily. I launched back in June and so far haven't missed a beat. (Fingers crossed). It's called Wayward Sons, and I haven't had this much fun in YEARS. Sadly I can't blame an editor this time around for the messed up story.

Uh, first time posting, heard about this on Twitter and thought to show some folk here the amazingly crappy Webcomic I do on DeviantArt. It's called "The Legend Of Wayne."

Yeah, I know. It's pretty cruddy but Hey, I'm 17 I can improve. But I think most of the strip's problems stem from the fact that I use MS Paint for the most part in making them. I can draw much better by hand, but I have no tablet and scanning images never seems to turn out well. In any case the three and a half people who read it seem to think it's a decent enough read.

I also put my equally unimpressive Fanart on my DA page. Ignore it or enjoy it, whatever.

What happens when everyone quits an MMORPG for good? How do the NPC characters that still live in that world come to deal with the lack in foot traffic through their stores? Who solves their problems for them? Do they take over the role of adventurer?

That's what PFS is about. The first 26 pages are online now, and more as I can complete them. Holidays sort of messed it up a bit. I also printed up mini-comic versions of the first 20 pages. You can buy those for almost nothing, if you want. But it will always be free online.

Promises Promises is a diet and fitness themed humour comic. Updates Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There are some small sequential stories so it helps to start at the beginning, but it's really not so deep that you'd get lost if reading backwards.

The Guns of Shadow Valley is a long-form adventure Western, with a Superpowered twist. It goes like this:"Somewhere in the mysterious Shadow Valley lies a secret that could forever change the face of the frontier. To protect that secret, a posse of gunmen with special abilities must come together and defend against a tribe of ghostly warriors, an advancing army led by a deranged Colonel, and the perils of the valley itself."

We were nominated for an Eisner Award last year for Best Digital Comic. (We didn't win.)

In the current storyline the evil Wittener started an attack against the headquater of the heroes – the Dortmunder U-Tower.

My extremely uncommercial long-form webcomic/serialized graphic novel/romance comic gone horribly wrong Rose Madder is a project spinning out of a story I did for TOKYOPOP's Rising Stars of Manga series in 2004. It's my attempt at decently high real-life drama, with mild fantasy elements (unless they're actually hallucinations or belabored metaphors), and occasionally less mild language.

There's a lot of very cool art being posted here on this thread.

Quiet little character piece about Souji Okita, Actual Historical Figure. He was the captain of the First Squad of the Shinsengumi, a kind of samurai anti-terrorist squad in Kyoto right around the tail end of the Tokugawa Shogunate. This is the anecdotal story of how possibly the best swordsman of his generation spent his last days, while his comrades were off being thrown under the bus of history. 48 pages, $1.99.

A supernatural Western buddy-comedy/revenge yarn from Archaia. Undead farmhand Doug Freshley (think a Terry Pratchett zombie, as opposed to the brain eating kind) and young charge Bat McNally track down the cattle rustlers who killed McNally's family and, well, Doug. Meanwhile, Doug himself is being tracked by a Lee Van Cleef-ish Grim Reaper, who's not at all pleased at having been cheated out of Doug's mortal coil. Fun fact: this actually came together on The Engine, and through various tribulations is only seeing publication now. It was also the first OGN I ever wrote, at 19, and it's an everything-but-the-kitchen-sink romp because of it.

EDIT: FYI, when I say "pages", I mean full sized comic pages that've been sliced up into however many screens. I'm not charging two bucks for, say, 48 flicks of your finger, that's inhuman.

Hello again, y'all! Time to join in on the shameless shilling.

I illustrate an once-weekly (updating Mondays) comic called Villainy with my good friend Lex penning it. Definitely needs more love.

We debuted last November, so no worries about losing hours of your life to archive binging. Unless, of course, you like that sort of thing.

Villainy is about an ironic sophisticate, a spacey party girl, and a kid genius... who, by the way, are the bad guys. They battle superheroes, live the high life, and try to balance it all without disappointing their superiors.

HEY GANG! Geoffrey D. Wessel here ONCE AGAIN.

To be honest, can't remember what I posted links to last time but we're here to do all new, all fresh right?

My main focus these days is a new sports-crime serial called KEEPER, drawn by Jeff Simpson, lettered by veteran pro Jim Campbell. We have the full 8-age Issue #0 up on the interwebs for you, yes, YOU. And the story will get into FULL swing in the very near future, so keep your eyes peeled!

I am also a contributing writer and editor to sci-fi anthology webcomic Hadron Colliderscope, providing weekly thrills chills and spills for you lucky people. (And incidentally, we ARE always looking for writing and drawing talents!) Check the archive and blog for past strips and bonuses, but here's a quickie from me. So to speak.:

I write and draw a three-times-a-week webcomic called PITCH BLACK. Today I reached a hundred and fifty strips, which called for an oversized special edition.

Normally every PITCH BLACK strips is one to ten panels long. But for the special, I took "oversized" a bit too seriously and it ended up having a hundred and ten panels.

HEAT: The Space Age of Pro Wrestling chronicles of the journey of rookie wrestler and recent convict Dick the Bastard as he battles his way through the ranks of Prison Pro Wrestling under the tutelage of former Galactic Champion Mad Doc Crockett.

The comic just entered its second year, the primary focus of which will be the Super Max Challenge Cup tournament.

I'm the writer and creator of Red Plains, an authentic western with various artists. We deal with the West as it really was, violent and unpredictable, and don't fall back on any tired Hollywood tropes.

The series has a diverse cast of characters - the main characters include the wealthy Latino family the Escovidos; rancher Doug Stevens and his spoiled son, Jackson; struggling father/daughter farmers Isaac and Rose Templeton; and the local politicians, prostitutes, cowboys, and Sheriff Doles and his deputies, who are trying to keep a lid on things.

We have loads of content available for free on Top Shelf 2.0. We've also begun releasing the series for sale digitally via Graphic.ly and MyDigitalComics.com and those copies have great extras attached, including audio commentary, concept art, and script excerpts.

I do enjoy looking at what's new on this thread.

I'm Simon Fraser, I write and draw stories about Lilly Mackenzie and her best friend Cosmo on act-i-vate.com. I also draw Nikolai Dante & Judge Dredd for 2000AD, so I make a living at this.

The first Lilly story

was recently printed in the Judge Dredd Megazine. The whole 94pp story is now back on act-i-vate.com

I've recently started a new Lilly story
Lilly Mackenzie & the Treasure of Paros
Which picks up the story several years later...and several years earlier...it's complicated
