   @eRay It's not terribly complicated. I got my tongue pierced, and it will slowly be stretched up to a 6 gauge bar, and that point will act as the anchor point for the split, which will be done with a scalpel. Healing time is the same as for a tongue piercing, 2 weeks for initial healing and 1 month for full healing, about. Also, the fact that I can do the tongue twist just means I won't have to learn to control both halves once I get it done. If I didn't already know how to do that (which I had to practice to learn, actually, back when I was a kid), I could still learn to control both halves independently after the procedure.

   My netbook isn't letting me record video. I had caption cards ready to compensate for the lack of microphone and everything. But there's not much point me updating my image on SPIT too often. This is what I've pretty much looked like for the past four years, if not longer. I don't age. My hair just gets longer and my beard grows and then gets shaved off.
   
   
   
   This would be the best caption card. The quote is taken from the end of an article in the New Statesman about and written by the editor of a book I've been looking forward and ordered today.
