those needles are just the cheapo versions of real piercing needles (albeit usually smaller). they can stay in indefinitely, and aren't that hard to move around with if you shove the ends in some cork. the longest i've worn a set was about a day, though.

the shoulder loops are questionable, yeah. i think about suturing a lot - maybe that's a solution? (remember the Bjork video for "Pagan Poetry," when she's got pearls sewn to her skin? want.)

Oddbill, I only had them in for about 40min, though as allana said, you could leave them in much longer. They're not at all uncomfortable once in, only problem is if you don't leave enough space at the tip, the tip could get swallowed up once your skin swells up about 20min in, which happened to me when I first did it. The other danger is that by leaving them in longer, you are leaving am entrance for bacteria to get in, nut you're generally okay so long as you're in a fairy clean environment.

And agreed about it making an awesome top!! I was thinking just that when I first saw it, I might have to recreate it sometime :)

Cute girl dressed up as one of my favorite super-heroines? Yeah, that's pretty much an instant "MUST DRAW" in my book.

Argos is so pretty, as is misat0, and so many others. Paul Sizer is, as always, a genius. And no one will believe stsparky now whatever he says or does. FredG totally busted him! :D

I love my retro-woman-in-the-kitchen photo. It reminds me of pictures like this.

EDIT: Oh God I started reading the page where I found the picture... Hilarious.

"Make him comfortable: Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or suggest he lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him. Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soft, soothing and pleasant voice. Allow him to relax and unwind. "

They forgot "Then throatpunch him, remind him that the little monsters downstairs are half his genetic goo, and that this is a team project, and if he forgets it, you will be happy to remind him with a kick in the balls until he remembers."

Thanks for noticing. That is my baby. It's a heavily modified '93 SV470 which I have owned since it was new.

^^ That, is one of the best photos I've seen of anybody, ever. Maybe I'm biased bc of the comic books, though.

@Oda That picture is freaking adorable!!! <3s to you

Oddbill I'm a touch sad of the fate of the books. But I will try and paint the scene too.

I trust every good book was committed to memory before their demise.

@oddbill: That photo fills me with the urge to TIDY YOUR BLOODY COMIC BOOK COLLECTION AND TELL YOU TO TREAT THE BABIES WITH RESPECT! Apart from that it's a great shot.

@oddbill: That photo is wonderful. Although poor comic books, hope they didn't suffer too much.

    I endorse @smileyfish's urge.

@Oda, I guess I shouldn't tell you where the comics went after this photo-shoot.

...to a farm, out in the countryside, with wide open fields where they can run free with other comics and never be lonely again...
