Thought you might enjoy this. At the Comic Book Shop where I now work, they let each staff member have a "pick of the week" and you make a little sign to put in front of the week's pick. Below is my sign, in front of my last week's pick.
You guys have been busy! Lots of awesome stuff, as always. :) @Goldsworthy: Awesome take on the picture! Killing people with my burning super powers is even more awesome than flowers and free drinks.
I'm being told I look a lot like a cocker spaniel:
In the absence of artings from me, here's some fodder a couple pics from A-kon 22 in Dallas:
and my Dad and Brother informed me "planking" on Father's day, so we took family planking photos, here's mine planking on rusty iron. It got to 110+ degrees Fahrenheit in the shade that day : Also that dark line going down my spine past my butt is my hair...
@Oldhat: Awesome pose you had with the axe. I can't help but draw anyone who wields an axe. I used a bit of artistic license with the bag, and background, hope it's to your liking. I may color this later, just thought I'd post it as is for now. Cheers.
@kperkins and greasemonkey: Thanks for the welcome and the kind comments on the work!
@Paul Sizer: The call is coming from inside your town!! Also, I believe I met you a couple times out here. Once when I was a kid in high school at Plainwell you came to our class and did a small 'Career Day' thing about comics. Another time at Fanfare you were doing signed splash pages of 'Little White Mouse' (of which I have quite a few of those comics signed by you). And one other time when I had my artwork up at Water Street coffee joint I happened to see you in their having coffee and typing away on your laptop. I would have said hi, but I was meeting Dave Coverly that day to do some catching up. Great to see you on here!
