Jesus, 70 PAGES? Don't we have better things to do than draw each other?
Are we going to have a "Best of 2011" for the thread? There's some great work here.

How would we vote?? that is near impossible- and the even better question yes we have 70 pages but how many drawings per page ;) hehe

Eh, you're right. Let's all do what I did; just go back and look at it all. It's damn impressive.

    You guys rule!

I'm determined to get at least one finished from previous photos in this thread... I might not make it before the end of the month though. I haven't put pencil to paper in a non-drafting type way in many, many years... but I still want to do this.

Hopefully should have something up fer christmas eve when I finally have a spare moment.

Um. I keep meaning to contribute to this thread. But i haven't. But perhaps it wouldn't be terribly rude of me to throw in some photographs?

Or... whatever you feel like grabbing from my flickr, really.

(did I mention my birthday is Christmas Eve?)

@rachael. Another member of the one present club ;) Mine's the 29th
  9.  (9386.11)
@Rachael -- did you ever have the problem that Steve mentions? Mine was yesterday (20th) and I've never had one present given as both. (That being said, I never received presents from aunts, uncles, or cousins for either holiday).

@Steve -- At least for the people that do get you something they can wait until all of the great Boxing Day sales. (Dec 26th sales for those that are trying to figure out what Boxing Day is.)
  10.  (9386.12)
True. I have encountered the one present thing over the years. Still get to basically celebrate with different people from the solstice to new year so no great shales ;)

    BTW Happy birthday for yesterday!
  11.  (9386.13)
Yes. I do always get one present.

However, this year, especially since I'm destined to still be ill by then, and have had little time to really enjoy the Christmas season since I've been ill for most of the month, I've decided to have a RACHAEL'S CHRISTMAS EVE HOBBIT BIRTHDAY in MARCH party. I was born three months premature, so, if i have my birthday on the date it SHOULD be, I'll be able to avoid the holiday fatigue. Also, at this point, as weird as the weather is, it'll probably be more likely to have a white Christmas Eve in March than it will in December.

I'll decorate for Christmas, make cookies, listen Christmas music, and invite people over for spiked Eggnog, and give everyone silly presents.

    @Rachael: That sounds great! :)

I prefer the singular present. In theory, it's bigger and nicer and not so immediately garbageable.
(In practice, I am such a ridiculously bad gift-getter that nobody bothers anymore. Which is how I like it, because nobody has ever been able to shop for me.)

hard to believe that this thread has hit 70 pages! There is some amazing stuff in here, I can only imagine the next year will be even better.
@Rachael Happy Birthday and sorry we missed you at the Iona last night, feel better and lets try again when @oldhat comes to town.

X-post from SPIT but sufficiently cartoonish for this thread

^Perfect adjective for that shot. Well done Bankara. Assuming you are NOT wearing pants in that photo as per the thread's new rules...

Sketch was bored whilst at the bar the other night, so I did this.

(edit) sorry about how big this image is appearing. I'll try to fix it later.
