So you're going to create a one-sheet showing your conception of the character, in order to sell it to a studio.

This is Hollyweird, in 2011. You're thinking: why does the Shadow have to be a man? Why does the Shadow even have to be white? Why does it have to be a cape? It just has to be the essence of "strange person who learned weird fighting techniques from Tibetan spooks before returning to America to fill criminals with bullets, spookily."

So what you're drawing or photographing is your conception of The Shadow for film, as a fake movie poster or a character sheet.

It aches at me that even if I did pull out my little touristy Powershot and grabbed a couple friends and their pulpiest clothes and headed to an atmospheric location, I still wouldn't put together something decent enough for this.
