    Wow. Really cool style, Cinn! I dig the bob cut, and the textures.

    I've got a chopped up week, so it's now or never for me...

    The pitch: The Tibetan monks showed her how to use shadows as inter-dimensional doorways. Who needs a car to fight crime?

    Though I make it a point of mine not to comment on these threads usually, I just have to say a few words about one of my favourite pulp characters and this here remake:

    *droooooooooooollllllllllll*

    [Excellent work all, I can't wait to see what byzantine shadows you brilliant lot throw.]

    The pitch is: "How about we remake this neat little Korean film I just saw?"

    Had to be a lunch hour project this time, but I like it. Sizer you really nailed that bullet trajectory.

    The sole reason I did this? Cranston's Burnsian nose demands visual comparison.

    I went with the Tibet bit, since it was the most solid anchor in the description - a little searching brought up a shaman's outfit and some masks that were too perfect NOT to incorporate into this. Especially since the outfit looked a bit like a ghillie suit, and I was trying to imagine some sort of urban version of that. Mix in a little of that super-tech (the mask I guess) that Hollywood gets such a boner for and some halucinagenic-laced gunpowder plus kung-fu, bullet dancing, and a shower scene? Presto!

    I guess I also figure our boy left himself a daughter back in Tibet...who'd obviously return to step up dad's old game.

    Raid71 == Holy Shit!

    artguy - you rocked it! That's a great spin on the Shadow, sounds like it could be a real 70's flick, and has a cool poster.
    Bravo!

    @paul sizer..love how you've integrated art and text so well.
    @Fredg..very bold and graphic.
    @Brendan..i think the nose is much part of the whole shadow design. Mr Burn's crime-fightin' cuisin.
    @Berserker...freaky looking mask..sweet.

    Gah..this took too long and I still think the foreshortening is a little iffy. Must work more on my fonts.

    I suppose it's safe to say that this interpretation isn't very 'neo-pulp':
