    Just happened to notice this article on SHH. I was lucky enough to see RED in theaters and enjoyed the crap out of it, and I was just wondering if Warren has anything to do with the proposed sequel?

    Jon and Erich haven't gotten in touch yet. I did speak to Lorenzo a few weeks ago.

    Any sequel will of course be based on the film, which takes it right away from the original source material. I imagine I'll have a conversation with Jon and Erich at some point, but, really, there's no reason why I would have anything to do with it. It's theirs to play with now. I'm looking forward to seeing what they come up with.

    Could they possibly throw some kind of bone your way, like getting tapped to novelize the sequel? (I don't know if that's your kind of thing, mind you . . . but better you than some hack, all I'm sayin'.)

    Do you get paid for the rights since it's theoretically still your characters/creation/brainchild?
