Hello all. The south coast's premier thin spot vibrates once again on February 10th with a visit from low end diabolists Demdike Stare.
Sean Canty and Miles Whittaker will be curdling the atmosphere with bleak drones, reverberative rhythms, heavy bass pressure and their own bespoke visuals.
The duo's latest release, a 3CD set entitled Tryptych, is streaming in full here.
The Outer Church congregates at Komedia Brighton on Thursday February 10th at 7.30pm. Admission is £5/£4 on the portal.
Oh! Apologies if it comes across that way. It's more of a follow up to a post about a previous OC event that Warren himself put up a few months back. Several posters expressed an interest then, so I thought it wouldn't be unreasonable to post this too. Also, it's a damn nice picture ;-)
Mr Stoto, if you can get your arse down to Barking there may be the possibility of a lift. Not promising mind, all depends on work and health. I believe my e-mail address is up here somewhere.
This will, as usual, be terrific. Really looking forward to Demdike Stare. The Outer Church is warm , friendly and occasionally utterly terrifying. I also get to DJ there sometimes.
ACTUALLY on this occasion Kemper has been called away on some urgent business so the 'decks' will be 'wrecked' by myself and Leee Nite of The Larsen Effect and Morgen Und Nite. Oh, and look... it's tonight!
