    Latest Jesus:
    Andrew Nixon,frequent contributor,Jesus,Hoarding,Hoarder,hipster,awesome,brown paper bag
He's supposed to be a hoarder, which is hard to draw with just one "room" in the picture. Tried to put a bunch of crap that should be thrown out into it. Had to change methods with this one, as there was way more stuff in the pic and it was all so damn small. So after painting on the colors, I just drew the black outlines with a Pigma Microcon pen, which I love, instead of doing it with a brush, like inking. Time saver, for sure. I feel like my style is bending into Doonesbury territory, though, which is weird (the noses in particular...).

Oh, I did add some glare effects after scanning this, so the final image has white shiny bits on reflective things like his glasses, and some seam work on his pants...

@Neil Ford: Breath-taking work! I love how both exist by themselves - can't pick a favorite one!Your art never fails to impress.

@Neilford Wow, the colors really add to the piece.

Damn, everything on here is gorgeous... not exactly unusual, but still so much awesome in this thread!

I kind of threw a hissy over a university based exercise and turned it into the start of a series of work I've been contemplating getting off the ground for a little while now. I've listed the theme as domestic violence but its more over reaching than that in intention, just can't quite get my insomnia addled brain to think up the right words to explain it.

Materials were really restricted by the brief for the university side of things so these will be redone sometime soon once I gather up what I need.

    Something about playing dress up

^ Something about playing dress up (which is what the text in the top left section reads). This one is almost as big as I am and I couldn't stand it upright at the time, so please excuse the shitty angle shot.

    Sacred Octopus
I call it Sacred Octopus and it's a combination of 300lb paper with watercolors, gold paint, and then fancy paper glued onto decorative gold cake platters.
Here it is from the side (click to see bigger):

@ Neilford - I think your stuff would work brilliantly in a kids book. Children have much more capacity for darkness than people think (The Brothers Grimm...etc). Look at the Dave McKean's stuff or Shaun Tan's 'The Red Tree' (my favourite illustrated book).

My art/design exhibit in the swanky hi-tech Arcus Gallery at the KVCC Center for New Media will open on the March Art Hop, Friday March 4th, from 5:30-8:30 pm in Downtown Kalamazoo, Michigan. Six widescreens of Sizer Design + Illustration.

Yes, they are letting me digitally exhibit my work on BIG LED monitors for the general public to see. I've got a whole screen dedicated to REMAKE/REMODEL, and one to a selection of DRAW EACH OTHER, so technically, some of YOU will be on exhibit at this show.

Still not sure if what I do is art, but It's what I put my creativity into and sometimes it ends up looking pretty.

My latest remake/remodel of an object into an instrument is of this old tennis racket I found.

and this is a video of me playing it
