I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
    100 Bullets #88, American Virgin #23, DMZ #28, BPRD 1946 #2, Goon Vol 3 #21, Jack Staff Vol 2 #14, Walking Dead #46

Following all of these books, but will wait for the almost inevitable paperbacks. Is it frustrating for Steve Seagle? American Virgin is the third longform series he's done at Vertigo that didn't make it past 25 issues. Does this mean Becky Cloonan is out of a regular assignment? With her and Brian Wood both working at the Vertigo, and with the Demo reissue on the way, perhaps they'll be working together again soon.

    Bat Lash Vol 2 #3, 76 #2

Waiting for the paperback doesn't feel as likely on these, but who knows. They'll probably be available on ebay at some point, or as a discounted set at the comics store. Glad to see John Severin still working a Western suits his style. He's excellent.

Showcase Presents Enemy Ace Vol 1 TP

A ton of Joe Kubert art, with John Severin, Howard Chaykin and Neal Adams along for the ride. Definitely.

Crossing Midnight Vol 2 A Map Of Midnight TP, City Of Others TP

Yes. I've been waiting on these and here they are. City Of Others, for those who weren't paying attention, is a Graphic Novel by Steven Niles and Bernie Wrightson. Warning though, if you're a fan of Bernie Wrightson's delicate linework, this may not be the book for you, as it looks like rough pencils heavily colored over by Jose Villarrubia. Still, it is new work by Bernie Wrightson and worth getting for that alone.

Dammit, no Punisher (MAX). I think my whole month is spent counting the days between issues. Oh well, atleast there's DMZ, FF and Walking Dead to tide me over.

bat lash, a cool western comic book, like Jonah Hex and the Lone Ranger, the other two best titles in this genre printed these days. do you know that John Severin the penciller is 86 years old??!!!

I hope it's cool to add a book - the ordering page has just gone up,

    Amberduke Panel

It's the long awaited graphic novel from Bob Byrne whose Twisted Tales you may have read in 2000AD

You can check out an 8-page preview and order it from here

Bob's been working his ass off trying to self create an entire comics industry here in Ireland - first by publishing a comics anthology to a professional standard (honestly, the best we had before him was photocopied....things) and then by distributing "The Shiznit" - a free mini-comic - across the city.

The guy deserves some love so have a look sure why not!

Innocent Volume 1 by King Tractor Press with the Tony DeZuniga cover should be in stores this week. Sending Tony a copy was a huge highlight in life.

For anyone keeping tabs, my pull list for tomorrow will be Atomic Robo #5, Fantastic Four #554, Punisher War Journal #16, Sword #5 (not certain about this release, because Diamond does not list it), Wolverine #62 (beginning of the Jason Aaron arc!), X-Factor #28 and X-Force #1 (I'll give this a shot, fingers crossed that it will be worth the hype/Marvel advertisement). I'm holding off on Punisher: Force of Nature one-shot until I get word that it is good. I don't want to be stuck with a $4.99 suckfest. I REALLY hope that Brian Clevinger will continue writing Atomic Robo stories, otherwise I just might cry.
