Better late than never files? (scanner cut off a piece of the title, sorry.)

Wow, CloneArtist, that's just fantastic! One of the things I liked about the original character design is that she looked happy, and that nails it.

A slow burn on this one, with some great entries all around.

Great entries this week. I wish that I had had time to participate.

I'd feel like a dick for being a new guy and not commenting:

There's some really beautiful stuff, here. @Paul, love that magazine cover. @pia, that's just a beautiful image. @256, i'm a Kirby freak and your image has that great iconography that the King'd have gone for. @Dbed, you just barely got edged out as my favorite design. Gotta give it to Miranda, though. That's just too far out there not to take it. There's a STORY in that design.

@Sobreiro I love the linework on this piece.
@Pia Guerra moody and atmospheric piece.

OK, so here's what I've attempted, may try and add colour in sometime - wait, no, let's not go down that path, there's madness and a nasty man with mallet down there. Look, here's a picture:

    Magician from Mars, by Jamie

I like to think that an angry Jane, on returning to Mars and finding it ruined, decided to break apart the boundaries of reality, including that pesky fourth wall on the cover of her new, rebooted series...

(I also hope nobody minds me nicking the Witechapel log, or the CCA logo, though for the latter I don't know who's going to complain...)

Great fun, well done all. Particulary liked @Soberio's and @Miranda.

Also, thanks for the kind comments on my offering!

@Paul Sizer, @Rooth, @Neil Ford: Thank you very much!
@Hambot: I love your entry, and a "Choose your own adventure" vibe is a good one! I remember someone, in a former R/R, receiving compliments shared with Pia Guerra and saying he would get the phrase framed - I totally understand the feeling and I think you very much for that!
@Berserker: I'd like to see more of that character! Great job!
    @Clone Artist: Excellent design!
@256: I agree with the award for Oxbrow :)
@Richard Basey: Thank you so much for that comment! Cheers!

256: Thanks. Of course it's not difficult to find nice things to say about everything here.

That was truly awesome of you, Oxbrow.

In time: Neil Ford's entry is breathtaking.

    Herr Hussein: very nice piece.

Not to mention all the other great works. As always, another brilliant R/R.

@Oxbrow - It really isn't that hard to come up with nice things to say about the work that goes up in here, is it? I usually don't myself just because either someone has already said it better or saying it all myself would be a long post that would just take away from the pretty pictures.

@Miranda - That's a pretty spiffy compliment - thank you! Having said everything I just did, I'll say this too: your pieces are always among my most favorite.

Nice to have my keenness acknowledged.

And another one to add to my post. ;)
