Along with my previously mentioned 835 I also just started a brand new comic-themed fan art blog with a few of my friends called the Comic Art Club which is along the lines of Comic Twart. Every week will have a new theme and our inaugural one being Transmetropolitan.
See, one of the good things about Tumblr is that you can basically just get it to auto-update from a blog feed. So that's what I've done for my site, leaving my Tumblr for music-related gubbins and random stuff. So ifyouplease, go follow: weaponizer.tumblr.com for site updates!
my tumblr is http://hepkitten.tumblr.com. mostly 99% all original photography or questions about photography. sometimes i upload random older images or one-offs from what i am shooting, sometimes i upload selects from a set over the course of a day or too. lots of urban decay, tunnels, cranes, bridges, animals, graffiti, lightstreams, fisheye, long exposure, and infrared stuff.
I've been inspired by Jess Nevins to start another one as a research scrapbook.
I thought I'd just have a noodle with this and then work on formatting it, but hadn't really factored in how easy it is for people to find your stuff on Tumblr. Coincidentally, Jess Nevins was the first person to follow it too. So I might as well go live in a less than finished form:
Pulled this together on Sat night actually. It's going to be a dumping ground for updates on projects I'm involved, mostly outside of the day job. I expect it will be about 60% game design/development, 30% comics, 20% animation, and 100% a waste of people's time to read.
I'll be showing a lot of work from my Parsons students here as well, so if you like to see game projects by folks who go on to bigger things you might enjoy some of it.
I doubt Tumblr works for more than 2 hours straight any day of the week. I am just grateful they updated their error page message and image, as you see it often enough. I'm not sure I know of any other popular site like that which has such major issues with staying up and running.
