    I've seen this or similar quotes floating around since Henry Cavil was named as the next actor to play Superman and it makes me just want to throttle people.

    It's just stupid. People are getting worked up about how a British actor is playing Superman and making it out to be some kind of blow to their idealized America.

    Next thing you know they'll have some foreigner playing Batman. Oh, wait.
