Excellent episode today. I was behind them fixing Mark, but the solution they came up with seems like the most just. He doesn't get off scot-free, and they still get him fully on board with Freakangels Business.

Maybe, but I find the overall idea that These Are Things That Superpeople Would Actually Do, and This Is What Would Happen If They Did It In The Real World fits better. Gary and Sanura are logical consequences if you think about what might happen if you fuck with someone's head in reality.

And maybe Mark can only prey on people who are mentally fragile to begin with. Gary and Sanura were certainly vulnerable, for completely different reasons.
