    @Reosarevok - my boyfriend's cat wakes me up with REALLY LOUD purring and frantic attention-whoring at 4am...

    And here is my self-portrait, though I think I cheated considering someone else took the photo. Maybe I'll try to do something just for WC.

    @Jeff Owens: HELL YES Entombed! Super nice huggy metal people <3

    ---

    Ever had one of those friends who ALWAYS made you sad? Who are so smart they have to pick apart everything you say, who make you feel stupid and worthless and even more stupid for getting upset over them. Who manage to take every possible topic and spew out so much general negativity they instantly ruin your day?

    BEFORE:

    AFTER:

    There are eight hours between these photos, and most of the night was good. But in half an hour he managed to ruin it and to make me spend today in bed. And I'm so airheaded and positive and whimsical I'll go talk to him again in two weeks. Repeat.

    What's wrong with just being POSITIVE for once?!

    This is honestly, quickly becoming my new favorite thread, besides "Around the Net".

    my hair

    I curled my hair and then went to a house party where I danced like a maniac to italodisco.

    Then I found some vintage Polaroid frames with these amazing molded plastic Polaroid mats in them. I've removed one from the frame and begun to shoot all of my friends through it.

    Good god DAMN that is a big baby! Many congratulations!

    But seriously, I come from a family of big babies and even I think she's larrrrrge (and of course, gorgeous). Serious props to the lady who birthed her.

    Ta very much dorkmuffin! There was much trying but not even forceps were able to get her mighty skull out of there, so a caesarian it was - my good lady still did an amazing job, all without telling anybody to fuck off. She came pretty close to not doing a single childbirth stereotype, so yeah, happy me :D

    Here is one for the new month from my last session while I cook up something new with my flash kit. This one is maybe a little more dignified than my last few but not nearly as fucked as some of the ones I took. Trying to go with dignified despite some trying circumstances in my personal life.

    @Odaelisabeth, at least that friend is just a friend and not, oh say, every member of your family or the person you share a bed with. Stay airheaded and positive and whimsical and never, ever let the bastards get you down or convince you that you are anything other than what you know know yourself to be: a fucking miracle walking around on two legs.

    Congrats! Massive baby action. Our dooms will not come soon enough.

    Not a self-portrait, although you can see my leg. This is our new cat, sleeping on his back, clearly unaware that it is WRONG:

    @Ryan: Congratulations!

    And next time I need a pep talk, I'm going to see Bankara. I feel more awesome just being in the vicinity of those (rightfully deserved, because Oda rules) words!

    Everyone is so beautiful here

    @Dextra-Love the tattoo

    @Oda-You're adorable and beautiful, as always.

    @Bankara-That's a wonderful portrait, I love the flash/light in the eyes. I think black and white portraits are the best.

    @Zoetica-Love your split portraits

    Still alive. Feeling a bit grim. Any of the L.A. area Whitechapelers attending the Edwardian Ball tomorrow night?
