Me and my two men - Ian and Jack (Ian is the person, and Jack is the horse). Not exactly a "self" portrait, but I like it - Jack was licking my neck.

    dry winter, split lip

Coming back from a day-job interview that I don't think went very well. Onto the next.

Studying for my comps, have been busy, haven't been here for a while . . . sorry

On the upside . . . have managed to drop 44 lbs since June :)
Hoping to hit that ever elusive 50 lb mark after I'm done cramming so much damn information into my brain that I feel like I'm going to combust.

    Trying to learn by osmosis

@thewaltonsare - Do not be tempted by any ideas that actually hitting your head with the materials will make it "go in" any easier. This is not the case. In fact, I think I might have forgotten some vital information with that method.

I've had a really rough few weeks, work-wise. The usual stuff. Underpaid. Overworked. Overwhelmed.
    2by2 me

Coming here and looking at all you lovely people does take the edge off though.

I swore to myself I wouldn't comment in this thread because I'm too drunk to make sense BUT:

@Valente: That photo gives me a total Orson Welles vibe and that is awesome.
@Yoav: HOLY CHRIST. That is all.
@Ginja - Shave it off, shave it all off! (That's what I did after the first time I grew my hair long - it's a real trip, but it's worth it).

@Yoav-I have great respect for you man, I'm terrified of heights!
  3.  (9592.127)
@256 - No! Really, no. My hair's short on my drivers licence because the original photograph was taken when I was 17, before I had long hair, and I look like I'm about to stab someone with the sharp end of a broken bottle.

    Also Oda would kill me.

@lexmachine day jobs are overrated anyway. Something good will come up.

You say that like it's a bad thing...not actually doing it, just looking like you're going to...

    @thewaltonsare Woot! Welcome back!

It was rainy and lovely today

Tried to do the whole "Kubrick" thing. Instead experimented and got this. I rather like it, what do you all think?

...and so with ever increasing internoodling... Well. Obviously it is another round of pictures!

(Alberto, Che's companion in 'The Motorcycle Diaries' passed this past month so I thought the picture was appropriate...)

Also for your viewing pleasure, the mutant healing factor of Edward continues to fix the damage done to my face by that horrible table... what was it doing there in the first place... I have no idea.

    Yikes, Edward!

@Edward, I hope you smashed that table to pieces and used it for kindling.
    Also, @sand & @Edward - Nice 'burns!

I went to grab some stuff off my camera and discovered these ones from a few weeks ago. Messing around with slow shutter speeds for motion blur (non-photoshopped).

@Sebfowler - I definitely read "nices bums"... I admit to scrolling back up and wondering where the boy bums were. >.<

Cold, windblown, not wearing enough make-up, in terrible need of a haircut, and the happiest I've been in months. I love this picture, even if it is a snapshot done with my own arm and a cellphone camera.
I want to go back to New York. Forever.

I would like to make Lazy Thursdays a tradition.
