    Edward! nice friggin' shiner!

    haven't been doing much picture-takin' lately. but i did find some amazing pornaroids a few weeks ago:

    (i thought about blurring the dirty bit out, but it's already almost-unrecognizable.)

    Can't really follow a pornaroid, but uh, here's a change of pace:

    This is now what I look like when I use the computer.

    I have vague carpal tunnel/cubital tunnel symptoms and wear a wrist brace and an elbow support while typing. I'll likely get something fancier when I ask a doctor what they recommend, but uh, until then I look really silly.

    Caroline: Ask your doctor to recommend an ACCUPRESSURE/Deep Muscle Massage specialist. I was on the verge of carpal tunnel years ago, and someone who knew where the REAL muscle problem was stemming from solved it within a month. Best money I've ever spent, because it fixed the root of the problem, not just the carpal.

    @dorkmuffin & @paulsizer seconded. My mother had some problems with one of her finger joints, got cortisone shots, which never really worked, tried accupuncture, and she said that all the pain and finger locking is now gone. You'll have to go back for a number of sessions, but it works.

    Anyway, I finished my first crocheted scarf today. Woo! Now working on a bear hat for the baby my friend will be popping next week. You only get a lower face self-portrait today.

    Visiting Seattle for a convention. Didn't have a lot of time for general sightseeing, so I rode on the monorail and went to the Space Needle:

    I don't know how much of a self portrait it is when all you see of me is my hand, but hey... I went blackberrying this afternoon. =o)

    @dorkmuffin-I had some Carpel Tunnel symptoms a few years ago and my doctor told me I had a B vitamin deficiency. Once I started taking B Vitamins it went away. When you go to the doctor be sure to ask about that, hopefully, it'll be something simple like that.

    @joanneleah that is gorgeous.

    @Rachael: Beautiful.

    @smileyfish: Blackberries! Are you going to make pie or jam or... I'm going to have to wait quite a few more months before I have a chance at blackberries myself.

    @joanneleah and Rachæl - Those are lovely pictures

    Time to bring things back to earth with some horrible fleshiness. Although not a SP, Sigga took this picture yesterday after i had a night out on friday "blowing off steam". Apparently this was the result of having fallen "comically" down a flight of stairs at my local bar.

    I think on an aesthetic level, the deep purple hue complements my porcelain flabbiness rather nicely...
