@Paul...Modok!!!!! Nice graphic-designy quality. I've never draw Modok before..maybe I should if only there was enough hours in the day..
@Valente...Moody..did you use a tissue to get the smoke effect on the left? Also good texture as well.
Today's daily..poster design for youth week, maybe...?
...and finally finished colouring this..

Excess ink and white acrylic paint was brushed onto a blank page to get the drybrush textures. For the smoke effect I used a skanky old brush with a little white acrylic paint and stabbed the bristles onto the inked page.

Well, we just wrapped up our inaugural week's theme of Transmetropolitan on the Comic Art Club.

This week's theme has been chosen by Carolyn Concrete who I met for the first time over the weekend. She wasn't able to participate on our first theme due to not having access to a scanner. Anyways, she chose The Sprawl Trilogy for this weeks theme. Unfortunately not many of us over at the Comic Art Club have read any of it but with the help of the interweb we will try our best.

@ Meatgun; that tiny hair looped into the g, that really makes it so very wonderful.
I recall when Robert Downey Jr had that drug session in the early 90s that they found a Wonder Woman costume in his closet.
I'm a bit curious why we haven't seen Charlie Sheen just wandering about in the full Superman costumes yet. -

today's daily sketch..barely. Apart from the derby stuff, I gotta do a promo poster by monday(the one with bulb-head). Lucky I don't need to polish it up too much, just add text. The things I do for a little exposure.

Shay (my colorist) spotting color for the Godzilla story I've been working on. We used this as our guide to what was going on in the panel, and make sure that Shay properly delineated the difference between Godzilla and Hedorah. Had to make some tweaks to G's right hand and some of Hedorah's tentacles.
