    I mean, obviously there is a veritable fuck-ton of stellar art in these threads, but I have been utterly smitten with @Mojokingbee's work of late. Spectacular stuff. Feels like there is a lot of emotional content in each piece. Love it.

    Some really great stuff posted this month. You guys rule.

    I have to say that @DIRTBAG KINGDOM has taken the cake, though. I laughed and I cried a little. Then I ate some waffle fries.

    Sorry I've been away, got my first MARVEL gig and have been starting a new creator-owned thing while wrapping up a few other things. Busy last few months.

    Since everyone under the sun has been posted their full TRANSMET pieces, here's mine. Colors and Inks.

    (First a few bits and pieces)

    @used_bandaid & valente - I'm totally diggin' your styles there.

    @mojokingbee - Dude. You're effin' prolific, man.

    @Sizer - I really like The Scientist.

    @NeilFord - Nothing but love for what you've been posting, brother.

    @kevinmellon - I'm enjoying your inks... Out of curiosity, what did you use for colors for the Transmet piece?

    @Alan Tyson and Dirtbag Kingdom - Wonderfully unexpected and well done pieces!

    Bot-A-Day 7, roughly 4 hrs. Lines, colors, textures, highlights, and shadow in ArtRage. Touch-ups and only one minor layer of filtering in Photoshop.

    I'm struggling between the part of me that wants clean lines, and the part of me that wants to be a bit more fast and loose, of late. Hopefully I can grind more of the latter soon.

    @seantaclaus Thank you! Re: Transmet - A buggy bootleg photoshop cs2. Just plain colors, a texture from Lost And Taken and some liberal use of the dodge tool.

    Here's a print that will be part of a set of 3 (along with Nathan Fox and Jason Latour) that will be available at Kansas City's upcoming Planet comicon.

    This weekend, I helped print a whole mess of 5'+ long white spandex. It was my first time working with a screen so damn big. The fabric will eventually go live in the hands of one of the greatest costumers here in NYC. I can't wait to see what becomes of my babies.

    Close-up of the screen

    We had to drape them from every available surface - this is our drying rack, which they couldn't fit on regularly.

    Another close-up of the crisp print work.

    This screen is so large I can fit inside of it.

    @mojokingbee - Thanks! You've really been cranking out the sketches. Nice work, always energetic. I always feel like I'm "selling the drama" a bit in my sketchbook. "Oh this HAS to BE something." Nice that you're just putting it out there.
