@Oldhat - and I'll say again that I love the photos you took on said set

    Let's see...

Moving into a great little country house with my boyfriend, and getting an awesome deal on rent because we're doing some aesthetic renovations...
Business is picking up and I have 4 different horses to compete this summer - three of which I will be paid to ride by the owners...
Great new student that has a lot of potential...
Oh, and the ex finally stopped trying to talk to me!

I still don't know what the word for this is. I got shit done today. I was productive and I was artsy and I knocked out a couple of (minor) problems, well questions I had hovering unasked just under my tongue. I can look at that and smile. I have a microphone. It makes me happy.

But I can't stop being on a verge of panic for Japan. I keep looking around me wondering what I can do, what I can send, what I might possibly do if I were there (I know, I know, I'm not going, it's ok). The worry and sorrow overwhelm the happy/pleased.

I'm alive. I can say that much.

I finished my last final of the quarter today and I ROCKED it :D I'm excited for spring break because it means I can crochet as much as I want and not feel bad about putting off homework. Excited to start the next quarter because I signed up for some fitness classes (spinning and yoga), and because after that I'll be done with uni and have my B.S. hooray!

I went on a hike at a place that is literally 2.5 miles from my house. There is a "nature preserve" which is basically some trails that the public can use, some of which crosses over private land (which of course, is the prettiest part). There are some falls and what is apparently called echo dells - think a small brownstone canyon. So I put a blanket down, sat on it, and took 25 photos (some repeats) from that exact location. Did some more hiking and took some photos with the crap camera, which I may or may not use at some point. Needless to say I live in an area with a high density of natural beauty and sometimes it is nice to be reminded of how damned lucky I am.

    Oh, and Watson typed: yhtgbb

not often I post in here, but i'm quite happy about it... Just got an email today from a gentleman called Bart Hopkin saying that he liked the instruments I made and that they were 'elegant and refined'. Which is just amazing coming from a man who is a brilliant musical instrument creator/teacher who's been called the granddaddy of musical invention etc. etc. who's written a plethora of awesome books on the subject.

didn't even realise who it was i was trying to whore my site out to a the time!

@government spy: Any woman who brings you a needleful of good drugs is, by definition, beautiful.
