Good morning, Whitechapel. ECCC is this weekend, and as far as I know the Avatar booth is already set up and ready to go. Well, I mean, it's 4 o'clock in the morning so you're going to have to wait a few hours to go see them -- but still! Who's heading out there today?
Some of you may have noticed I was offline last week. That's because my COMMAND CENTER (read: I do have a really massive office setup) was in a truck. Taking several days longer than expected, for that matter. At any rate, I've relocated to a seeeekret base not in the Bay Area. You can't really get much in the way of land to set up seeeeekret bases in San Francisco, and you would not believe the zoning hoops you've got to jump through to dig a bunker. What's everyone else been up to?
Figured this week might be a skip, but I always like having the anticipation built up a litte. Also, being on the last book now, skip weeks feel kind of like hiding a bottle of the good stuff under your bed for a rainy day...
Sorry if I'm all rambly, this week has damaged my brain. Also, the place I went to last night had Mojitos on tap (because it was well classy). No matter, it's Friday! Take her easy, folks.
oh well, another commercial break. Guess it's needed to keep the show running financially. But that don't mean I like them for now I have to wait yet another week for the next episode which tells me more about the FA's and their world.
My life this week... quiet. Vèry quiet. Too quiet....
Welcome back Ariana. I picked up my signed hardcover from Gosh! yesterday but haven't had time to even take it out of the bag yet. We accepted an offer on our flat yesterday, £10,000 more than the offer last week, and had an offer accepted on a house, so it's been a good week. Now I just have to spend a couple of months dealing with solicitors, estate agents and mortgage brokers.
This past week, I was assembling a rough draft of a report due for my writing class. I've been working on it for maybe two weeks, should've been working on it for five, and only felt that I knew what I was doing and where I was going yesterday afternoon. It's occupied my mind so much that I didn't even remember FreakAngels until the evening! It was something of a relief to find out this was an off-week.
Now I have to figure out what to do when every spare moment is not "I should work on my report" or "I don't want to work on my report right now". Do other classwork, I suppose...
*grumble grumble* I don't mind the off weeks but wouldn't it be nice to have a bit of art to go with them? There must be roughs, sketches, that sort of ephemera that would make them more interesting. if you look here you can see that a lot of the earlier ones had illustrations and whatnot to go with them, but the recent ones haven't.
But hey, it's free, can't complain really can we? Except I just did. Hmm. Oh well you get the idea. Looking forward to the new episodes... and the end!
