I'd just like to state, as a student of the University, that this is not a joke. I'm friendly with members of both societies organising the event, and they are all quite excited (and have borrowed books from my collection and to appear nerdy and well read).

This will be a dream come true. I never thought, that of all the places I would find a real life Ellis (even if he will be caged and not in his natural habitat) in Galway.

Blarg, Galway, that's full of wanker's on their stag nights. Come down to Cork and we can grab a pint.

Ouch. Only if you stay on the wrong side of the bridge. You obviously haven't come party with the hippies yet ;)

I've been too far on the wrong side of the bridge, I once ended up in Mayo, or as it's commonly known English translation: Purgatory/Limbo. Not an experience I would wish to repeat.
I've work and a masters to be doing on Thursday but its not every day we get talent over so I might be able to juggle some stuff.

This evening Warren said "Don't meet your hero's" after meeting him and listening to him, I have to disagree.
Well worth the cross country jaunt so see him, esp as it was his first time in the Republic of Ireland, but hopefully it won't be his last.
