Angry Faerie is best described as "Tinkerbell meets Dragonball (but not Dragonball Z)". It's the tale of the perpetually pissed off Anger Faerie and the other mythological beings who have to deal with her. The comic updates Monday/Wednesday/Friday and has been running for a little over a year. I recently changed the format from the "classic newspaper strip" to full-sized comic page. Hope you'll take a few minutes to check it out.

Recently: Angry Faerie's clone has encountered one of Angry Faerie's enemies, the Draugr. Her reaction to the draugr is decidedly different than Angry Faerie's. Meanwhile, unsure where the clone has vanished to, Angry Faerie's brother Artus and her former best friend Brinda go off in search of her and find more than they expected.


In the meantime, Rok and Mika are trying to get Angry Faerie's anger levels back up in preparation for battle with the draugr and Merlin. Apparently things are succeeding:

I'm working on a graphic novel called Nathan Sorry that I publish a page at a time as a webcomic. It's about a hapless investment analyst who is supposed to have died on 9/11 but instead has gone on the run. I'm about 76 pages in. I sell digital comics of the first two issues worth of the story on Graphic.ly and The Illustrated Section (first issue is FREE there).

Below is part of a 3 page comic book "trailer" that I am putting together to appear in a FCBD anthology. I thought it would be fun to try to put together a preview that reads like a movie trailer. This is the last part where the scenes would be edited together really quick and the music builds to a crescendo before the title comes up on the screen.

The Cattle Raid of Cooley, my serialised adaptation of a war story from Iron Age Ireland, is up to page 114 and probably less than half-finished. My intention is to avoid the misty fantasy world clichés and tell the story as if the past is the present for the characters, in a style that owes more to Eddie Campbell than to Frank Frazetta. I'm Dan Goldman and I do RED LIGHT PROPERTIES, my comic series about a small real estate firm on Miami Beach that exorcises and lists “previously-haunted homes” to victims of foreclosure while trying to hold their own lives together.

The RLP office is run by the Tobins, a married couple in the process of divorcing (no spoilers, it happens on page one): Jude Tobin is a schlubby, drug-addled jewish shaman who handles the exorcisms, and his control-freak Cuban wife (and agency broker) Cecilia who sets him loose in haunted houses armed with the various hallucinogenic plants he uses to enter the spirit realm and get rid of any unwelcome spirits. And then there’s little Turi, their young son stuck in the middle of the divorce, and Zoya, the office’s perky zaftig Russian receptionist-slash-ghost-photographer whose enthusiasm for working with our shaman feeds his own ego while exacerbating an already-bad situation.

Essentially, RLP is a gigantic twist-up of my neuroses about life/love/death/family/marriage set in the rising tidewater of the US economic collapse, one that I’m using to transmit my own cosmological ideas about the Shape of the Universe as seen from a tiny aging monkey body.

I publish new RLP comics every weekday.

It's a 24-page, one-shot, satirical horror comic about the events leading to the original Comics Code Authority. The members of the Senate Subcommittee are secret monster hunters, seeking to destroy evil children, who they believe are corrupted by the stories of EC Comics. THINK OF THE CHILDREN is designed for print publication, with plans for a hand-made, hardbound, sculpted artifact book in mind. So that the story can reach as wide an audience as possible, we have decided to release it online for free. Comics make kids evil!



I also wrote a webcomic with artists Andrew Sides and Errol Rich Jr. called BORDER CROSSINGS. There are currently over 70 pages (3+ issues) of story online. I'm currently seeking a new artist to collaborate with on this creator owned project.

BORDER CROSSINGS is a dark marine fantasy where a salvage submarine’s strange crew must redefine freedom for their drowned world. If you prefer comparisons it’s Firefly, Labyrinth and Perdido Street Station in a nautical steampunk mash-up. The story is also an allegory for the modern era of globalization.

I am currently seeking a new artist to finish the last 44 pages of BORDER CROSSINGS. There is an opportunity for publication and the original artist has released his rights to the story, opening the door for a creator owned collaboration. Supernormal Step is a comic about a girl who was pulled into another dimension by two drifters who didn't know what they were doing. Now she is on a quest to get back to her own world, but questioning everything along the way. Ancient beasts, political struggles, faceless security forces, and finding a good building to squat in are all daily problems for her now, and everyone is taking notice of her. WORLD OF HURT, which I bill as "The Internet's #1 Blaxploitation Webcomic." WORLD OF HURT follows the adventures of Isaiah "Pastor" Hurt, a fashionable, streetwise fixer who offers his services in exchange for two favors to be named later.





WORLD OF HURT is inspired by both the classic b&w comic strips of the '50s and '60s, such as Peter O'Donnell's Modesty Blaise and Alex Raymond's Rip Kirby, as well as the Black action movies of the 1970s. As such, I treat the source material respectfully and seriously as an urban crime drama, instead of satirically.

The first storyline The Thrill-Seekers earned three Glyph Comic Awards in 2010 and also very kind words from Mr. Ellis himself. Presently, I am in the midst of the second storyline, The Black Fist, which chould best be described using the elevator pitch, "John Shaft vs. Charles Manson."

I do a weekly webcomic, updated on Thursdays, called "Life with Death" - LifeWithDeath.com
It's about the Grim Reaper and his family, but mostly his soon-to-be 18 year old daughter, Kim Reaper, who is to become the next Angel of Death - much to her dismay.
I've been doing it for a year now, and it's gone through a lot of changes as I'm constantly learning and trying to get better. It's definitely experimental. The comic was in color for a while but it took so much time to do, that I had to go back to B&W.

The first page features Kim's mother, Lucy, daughter of Satan; Satan himself and Satan's ex-wife Mabel.



The second page features Kim and her best friend Lilith, with her pet snake Apple.

It's a fairly mainstream/pop/super-science comic about a high school girl named Cally Calhoon, who moonlights as a super-spy. Tonally, it's a bit of a love letter to the early 2000's comics that got me back into reading: Ultimate Spider-man, Invincible, and Warren's work on Planetary/Authority-- (although, I consider us an "all-ages" book, so not quite as violent as The Authority...) We were called Joss Whedon-y in a review-- Personally, I take that as a compliment. (I leik Joss stuf)

We update once a week on Tuesday, and I also do a pretty lengthy process writeup with each page. We also supplement the comic with a blog on Thursdays, where I pundit Digital/Web/Distribution news.

We've wrapped up our first issue and recently started waving our Digital Comic flag. We're currently available on Graphic.Ly for 99 cents, and we've got a few other platforms in the works. Why would you pay 99 cents for a webcomic that you can get for free? Good question. I try to answer it here.

I think we're one of the few "full team" webcomics around-- with (in my opinion) a really solid creative team. Our artist is a fellow from Hawaii named DJ Keawekane, who has done some indie work for a comic called Pono Loa. We're colored by Lisa Moore, who colors Boom's Darkwing Duck book, and lettered by Brant Fowler from Comic Related. Rounding out our cast is DJ Kirkbride, who was one of the editors for Image's Popgun anthology. (and won a friggin' Eisner!)

Oh, and I'm the guy that runs the Comic Book Script Archive...which Warren was kind enough to link once, and nearly broke my server.

Conny Van Ehlsing, Monster Hunter is the ongoing story of a girl who grows up to fight monsters and vampires and such. Or, well, she willl, eventually. The stories vary between one sketch and 18 pages. Here's a - somewhat untypical - one-shot:

The Pocalypse - a flash webcomic about do-it-yourself superheroes who are trying to cope with post-apocalyptic life! It's been running for 6 months now and I'm really enjoying it!

My webcomic is a bit different than the traditional webcomic format(not better or worse, just different!). The Pocalypse is fully animated and it reads/plays like a retro isometric RPG.

The Story: 1965 - Boston, Massachusetts - Father Bill Sullivan is a Roman Catholic priest with a secret – he wields an awesome power that he believes is given to him by God. The "Power of the Holy Spirit" manifests around him as nebulous tentacles of purple and gold energy and smoke. It allows "Good Samaritan" (as he calls himself) to hover, grab criminals and restrain them, subject thugs to the experience of their own crimes in his "Confessional", and occasionally render ultimate judgment by turning perps into dust while proclaiming, "Remember Man that thou art DUST and unto dust thou shall return!"

It concerns a dry, ironic, urban sophisticate; a cheery and spacey party-girl; a child prodigy no more than ten... and they're the bad guys. Villainy follows their exploits as they battle superheroes, mingle with high society...

...and try to do it all without disappointing their superiors.

This is PSI: A Pessimistic Sense of Inadequacy. Started as the "I'm going to make a webcomic." and evolved into a very complex story, including storylines pushing the barrier of the 4th wall during it's participation in The Crossover Wars, the largest multi-webcomic crossover event in history with over 50 direct crossovers and hundreds of cameos and references to others. The other webcomic I've been working on for a good while. Originally as an interim artist, but I've become a scripter/editor, and I am now also the COLORIST (Current art is by John Peters, and Concept and Story by Jason Dunstan, original artist (after Jason) was Trevor Adams). This is Ardra. A webcomic about a brilliant, young scientist, trying to raise intelligent, successful offspring without any emotional attachments. Plays a balance between some sci-fi, comedy, and drama. We are presently redoing the very first story (and almost done), to get ready for print!
