I have to say, something that continuously kicks my ass about the art is just how physical all of the psychic effects are - memories are Polaroids/comic panels, time bubbles are TV static, psychokinetic blasts leave craters - it's all so much real than how such things are usually depicted, and it never feels cute or gimmicky, it just feels like Freakangels.

I also love how well Alice knows the Freakangels. I did think she was going to come in and ruin everything. Or that it would turn out she could kill (or good as kill) Luke after all and all the future stuff was a red herring and not set in stone. She's going to have something to say, that's for sure!

Now Luke's dealt with, Mark - and the possible greater evil he fears - are the things left to address. I'd love to know what made Mark switch from that little kid who wanted to do good in the world. What does Mark know that they don't? He's the real mystery to me.
