    Or: coming to a point where we are left to draw our own conclusions? For I feel the story never ends, it just will come to a point where you don't tell s the story any more, but the story will continue to tell itself. In our own minds...

    Ah it's lovely, watching the movement of this story... I imagine the 'Angels on the precipice of where they are physical and integral to the world in the same way any human displaces air and resources around him, they are at the dividing place between present being and future projection. They'll bridge that divide, cross over or what have you and perhaps Alice will be on this side of the material and the present as a sort of earthly 'Angel - no Freak, but not to be trifled with either.


    Or that could be my exhaustion going on. Turns out that after 10 days of running around like mad, pushed to every mental and emotional limit, 10 hours of sleep won't really make up for it. Brain has told me to fuck off and pulled bits here and there offline with no warning. It's been great though...stage managing, studying Japanese, acting, practicing voice. Life is full. I keep forgetting I'm deeply in debt with no income.

    The amount of awesome per square inch in this comic would defy expectation were it not for the fact that previous issues have each topped the ones before them. I don't know where people are coming from when they are getting upset about things being left unfinished... I feel like all of the pieces are clicking into place, momentum is building, and amazing things are ahead. And I don't want *everything* explained... I want to be inspired to think about it, to explore and study, to read something that provokes and invokes. (i.e. any of Warren's best stuff where endings are important - the recent Planetary, the future Doktor Sleepless.)

    I will be sad to see this go, but being able to hold the whole thing in my mind and look at it from different angles will be awesome. Being able to hold the whole thing in my hands, to buy a new set and turn someone new onto this will be what comics have always been all about. (i.e. infecting your friends with The Disease you got from Warren when he asked to "just put the tip in" to your brain "just for a second, to see how it feels".)

    Some of Ellis and Duffield's finest work, this recent storyline.

    Considering the way TRANSMET ended...I'm looking forward to seeing how this will eventually wrap up. Engrossing story.
