it brings joy to my heart to see SATANS MONK mentioned, even though im not in it anymore.

listening to VACCINE, ORCHID and IRON LUNG a bunch. still feeling out the new PANIC AT THE DISCO. 'hurricane' may be my favorite song of the year so far.

@celticstorm - Thanks for that, now I have something else to listen to.

Otherwise I'm still on a Nick Cave kick, though I've moved from Grinderman to the Bad Seeds material. I've also been listening to the new Burzum album, which I like so far, but not as much as I liked his previous album.

have i mentioned how much i appreciate these threads? you guys have impeccable taste, and i misappropriate so much of it.

@InvincibleM, that Wires Under Tension song is great.

@Allana, if you like wires.under.tension, you should check out their previous project(which is my favourite band of all time) Slow Six.

Here's one of their best songs(a live version but they don't have a ton of songs on Youtube):

I've just bought the Benefit For The Recovery In Japan compilation. Server seems a bit overwhelmed atm so I can't download it yet, but it looks great.

Also, been enjoying these Kutiman youtube mixes.

I always try to listen to new things every week and then @Brent Wilcox just comes up with a list from which I recognize two groups. Two. Where do you find it all Brent?

    Sigur Ros - Takk
    Peter Broderick - Float
Kode9 and the SpaceApe - Memories of the Future
    Sevara Nazarkhan - Yol Bolsin
William Fowler Collins - Perdition Hill Radio

and I've managed to hit some time to hear

Jesu - Silver EP & Sun Down EP
Devin Townsend - European Tour 2011 EP
The Luyas - Too Beautiful To Work
Earth - Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light
Unkie - The Price Of Fame

And the new Cavalera Conspiracy album will be picke dup on Monday despite only middling reviews.

Really into The Weeknd mixtape that dropped this past week ... It's like R&B with dubstep influence.

    I like that Burial track.

Been listening to Music Has the Right to Children again and it's still one of my favourites.
