Witch Doctor #2 is on sale today! Here's a seven-page preview. Where the doctor SHAKES A BABY. FOR SCIENCE. And here it is for sale digitally through ComiXology.
Also, judging by my comp copies at least, it looks like they fixed the problem that was causing the "boils" on issue #1. So, yay!
And if you missed #1, the 2nd printing goes on sale next week. It's also available through ComiXology. Also also, #1 was stand alone, and isn't required reading for issue #2. -

The cuckoo babies are so adorable in a scary, scary way. I think I fall in more love with Ketner's art with every re-read.

Man, that baby is just plain disturbing. I'm going to see my newborn niece tomorrow, so I really couldn't have read this at a worse time ... or COULD I?

Curb, if I took anything away from issue #2, it's this... you need to shake your niece to see if she drops a glamour. It's the only way to be sure. -
Hell, I'm too scared to even HOLD a newborn - I'm convinced that if I so much as breathe the wrong way, they're going to explode or something! I'm happy to report that if it is a glamour though, it's one that makes her appear perfectly content to sleep most of the day, occaisionaly waking to squint at the world quizically :)

Hey folks! Been a while since I posted an update — but Witch Doctor #4 (of 4!!) comes out next Wednesday (November 2)! It's strange — it feels like we barely started, but it also feels like we've been working on this forever.
I wanted to show you guys part of the issue, because I think it's some of our best stuff yet. I'm really happy with how #3 and #4 came out. Please note though, that some of the dialogue and one of the panels have been redacted in the preview. WD #4 presented kind of a poser when it came to releasing a preview, because there's literally no four consecutive pages in the issue that don't spoil *something* big. So this is how we decided to get around that.
