I wasn't exactly sure where to post this. Myself and collaborator Iain Laurie have a strip in New British Comics #3 (some details here) which prominently features a refrain from a dance-pop hit you'll be unfortunate enough to know if you were around in the 90s.
So I made a horrible wee promo movie, which I thought the foul denizens of this particular forum may enjoy. And here it is...
It was just a daft wee experiment with Moviemaker which I've never used (...and it probably shows) but I think it hits a nice unsettling vibe. Any thoughts?
Yes, I can see you all might be worried this was a Vengaboys recommendation piece or some form of dance-pop slash fiction criminality... it was really just a dumb and fun little thing to do, and maybe a way to get people looking at the comic other than the usual pimp / spam / harrass people method. I'll post the comic up in a future webcomics thread in a couple of months time after the anthology's been out for a while, so you can see what the fuck this is all about (if you care to, that is...!).
@Will - indeed, there's plenty more Laurie-ness to come. I picked that one as the 'title image' as it seemed to work nicely but not give much away.
@Fauxhammer, Paprika, Icelandbob - thanks for your opinions, I'm going to take it I've been relatively succesful in my aim here!
