@Rooth = At first I'm like "Hulk's got this", then I'm like, but Beast is standing on Hulk, who's standing on a cliff edge, next thing I know I'm imagining a whole kind of "They Live" scenario where Beast is trying to make Hulk put on the sunglasses... So I guess what I'm saying is I like your drawing too :D @Valente - Lovely work, intriguing image and good use of black @Neil Ford - Nice Hellboy! Great shapes. @HEY APATHY! - Thanks a million, also brilliant webcomic! Getting trapped in a mirror is such a scary idea, people look in mirrors all the time but no one can hear you scream.
LOrdofthejungle- haha! Thanks! I loved that movie....
superecretid - thank you! You should definitely try out ink washes, I think you'd dig 'em. Working wet on wet with a decent brush, you can pull off some pretty cool colour mixes and nebula type stuff blends. I'd recommend using liquid transparent inks and/or liquid water colours to get that 'comic book vibrancy' into the colours, as opposed to using traditional water colour cakes/blocks (which i find harder to get bright colours out of). I find inks to be a much easier (and more reliable) medium than markers- though you seem to have a pretty awesome handle on using markers! Awesome Dark Phoenix!
@ Sizer -KING PAUL! the three panels story trumps everything I've ever seen you do and that is no f--king easy task. Amazing message and as always amazing art.
@oddbill - I love those sketches, especially the use of colour. What a great idea for a drawing class. @miranda - I really like that image. I keep going back to it.
Here's a pen and ink I just finished. My penmanship is not that great but I'm working on it.
@ moali - shit that's cool call it a spectreman and throw it in the remake thread!
@miranda - think I already commented on your stuff here but I actually came back today just to check it out again. It's like beautiful from afar but dismal and rotten up close, and yet still absolutely beautiful.
@lazzyfair- sorry to here March sucked, keep that pencil in hand and things will only get better (maybe, no guarantees)
@ lomopop - nice poem & hatching/liked the remake also, alternative comics rule!. (You're a fan of the gashlycrumb tinies too I presume?)
Probably one of the last pictures of Shark Pony I'll do, but some of my watchers and friends on DA want me to actually draw the comic, not sure if I should...it might be fun? I need to scan in stuff to post on this thread sometime.
You tell me when you have that on Red Bubble and I will purchase that shirt ASAP.
I think Chris's Space Shark needs a guest artist page. Hint. Hint, you two.
Last month I put up a shot of a mask that I made for a local photographer. The two shots will be published in a Houston arts magazine Bayousphere. Hurrah for being published, though the mask isn't getting a credit of any sort.
I'm going to assume the Ventures Bro art jam is getting to a slow start or is it now being post-poned?
@jackcrowder I have the shirts up on Zazzle (I hadn't heard of Red Bubble until your post) and I didn't post a link in the forum because I thought that would be weird/improperselfpromotion D: I've never done a guest comic so I'm not sure where to start with that.
