    @mojokingbee: like 20 minutes, I was testing a Boxwave stylus I got from a friend - I can't draw with just my finger on the iPhone, it's too imprecise...

    @Hey Apathy - Awesome stuff and I love your videos, very informative - you do art on a BIG scale!!
    @Oddbill - I love your sketches, stunning.

    This started as a pic of a guy on a horse, but it ended up turning into an Elric/Ragnarok thing, but I haven't decided whether or how to color it yet, so thought I'd drop it on as is.

    @BattGuano That is some mighty art my friend.
    @Valente Love it!

    @Alberto - Oooo... Spy Hunter, yes?

    @kyle-latino -
    I drew a dinosaur.
    Fuck yeah you did! A solid one, at that!

    Sorry I've been off the radar for a bit. Was out for over 2 weeks housesitting for some friends, with a lethargic DSL connection on it's best day. So, aside from posts to Twitter and FB, I haven't been posting art anywhere else.

    Playing with a new technique, for a more cartoon-like quick character sketch option. All of these were done strictly with ArtRage 3 Studio Pro, using imported Photoshop filters within the program. I've posted these in order, so that you can see the progression. All pictures lead to their correlating Flickr pages, where you can navigate to their larger sizes, should the detail-oriented of you so choose.

    Loosely Influenced by the Star Wars character of the same name.

    Didn't care much for the colors on this one. Might gut the colors and redo them later.

    Bot-A-Day 16
    Started integrating minor light/shadow here, as well as minor filtering.

    Here I started adding much more substantial lighting and shadow, with slightly heavier filtering.

    "Cy-Borg" (Bot-A-Day 17)

    Bot-A-Day 19
    By this one, I've hybridized it a bit with the linework I was using for much of my earlier Bot-A-Day pieces. Thinner than the new heavy cartoon lines, still thicker than the early Bot lines. Probably an hour was spend just fucking around with the background/atmospherics-- nothing fancy or of high detail.

    Damnit, the one chance I get to whip something up for a station ident and the thread's already closed. Well I guess you lovely artistes will have to bask in the glory of my hastily cobbled together crap.
    It's just a bunch of old art thrown together on top of some photos. So, here's some newer stuff to make up for it. Some quickies from last month's Dr Sketchy's in Melbourne.

    @Seb - from that station ident, I'm guessing you read The Magic Pudding as a kid.

    Bat Manatee! How I've missed him!

    He should team up with Neila's Sharkpony. They could solve crimes. AMPHIBIOUS crimes!

    @Oddbill @sebfowler I can only imagine a meeting between Sharkpony and Bat Manatee ending horribly, they'd definitely be adversaries.

    I've been working on my graduate thesis for the last few months, so not much art unrelated to that. But I did finish this one today. I considered submitting it to the station ident thread, but it closed before I got a chance.

    Old Scratch, bored with it all.

    @ Ryan s .Thompson- it's all done with india ink/brushes & pens on paper.
    @ Battguano- thanks! I'm enjoying your work a lot as well, nice odd proportions on the characters
    @kyle latino - I like the dinosaur
    @ Seantaclaus- those start to get really good at the Floater look forward to seeing what happens next.

    @Anopholeles- that's my favorite thing in the thread so far, very nice

    I made some of my drawings into skateboard designs. My friend has a shop and I've done board graphics for him before so I'm going to try to get some more work out of this, wish me luck

    I really like the last one, Ruzkin. The painters mask and headphones are a cool visual combo.

    I see these on Youtube a lot, so I tried to make one recently, for the station ident. I'm just
    using Camstudio, which is free, but a bit of a fiddle to get the right kind of results with.
    It might be sort of useful, for review purposes, but after making the vid, I'm not sure I've learned much,
    except never to use Premiere again, unless the planets on fire. I'm going to try developing my
    backgrounds more, as I think this is where I'm being lazy, and focussing too much on clothing.

    Actually, a good question;
    What's a good cheap app for MAC OSX that can do what CamStudio is doing here, recording screen activity as a movie? Or is there a better program that Mac can use that does the same thing. I've wanted to do some demo things like Ed's up there for a while. Any ideas?

    @Paul Sizer, I did a quick google search, and Screenflow looks pretty good. The only limitation on the free trial is a watermark (otherwise fully functional).
