    @Purple Wyrm:

    I actually have TWO Rondo Veneziano vinyls! I can't play them (no turntable of any kind) but they sit on my pile of "this looks positively weird/intriguing", remnants of the huge 2k vinyls collection that I helped to flog online few years ago (mostly classical music, 80s pop... and since it was german vinyls, it also had a truckload of awful german schlager music, bavarian and tyrolean music and so on). I think I saved 30 discs total from the whole mess, heh.

    @Fookwit - I love the Nottingham Science videos.

    Those Lincoln videos are great. With all the higher university fees I expect 'University of Lincoln: Second Year' to be directed by a resurrected Orson Welles and outsell Avatar 2.

    Has this been posted already? Surely. Surely surely. I want to watch a whole film that looks like this - someone throw money at this man.

    I feel it should be noted that I went to Lincoln University.

    I wish it was as awesome as those vids portray.

    Who want to chip in and be roomies??

    The house from H.P. Lovecraft's story "The Shunned House" is for sale

    The house had a colorful history even before Lovecraft wrote about it, none of which is mentioned in the real estate listing however. Aside from a giant monster buried in the basement (which can, admittedly, be killed with acid), it has four bedrooms, a koi pond and a library.

    Immediately after the Lovecraftsman page loaded my whole screen went blank and I had to turn it off and on again. Spooky...
