got the day off so been playing music since i woke up...
so far Becoming Real Live @ The Boiler Room
Currently I am listening to BenUFO @ The Boiler Room, corsica studios seems a popular venue I am hoping to be there for a Planet Mu thing in May.
Worth a mention is Jeremiah Jae,first mc on Brain Feeder.

    Jeremiah Jae - Seasons

    Jeremiah Jae - Raw Tape$

And on a more traditional Hip-Hop tip recently discovered this crew called DarkStorm, there is a free album available.

Dark Storm - Don't Sweat It.

If Modeselektor start a label specifically to release Siriusmo's music then its got to be worth a listen.

    Siriusmo - Mosaik

@icelandbob that hiatus tune is big,i thought it was king midas sound or spaceape when i first heard it.

    Cheers for that Bram!

i've found myself with this on in the background this morning. Has a nice propulsive rock/pop drive to it. A decent antidote to all the "heavy" miserablist stuff i've been iistening to over the last couple of weeks...

I just canny bring myself to listen to anything cheerful at the moment. Still, I'm enjoying being miserable at least!!

OOIOO are awesome. That's my favourite album of theirs. Yoshimi can do no wrong...

    Low - c'mon
love this band. not utterly grabbed by this new one yet. It's a lot straighter than the utterly magnificent Drums and Guns. hopefully it'll grow on me. the opener though is a sumptuous piece of pop loveliness.

@Icelandbob, I was going to run that in the background, but the visuals are just too amazing to pass up. Really enjoyed the entire thing.

Rhian Sheehan - Seven Tales of the North Wind. And a Soundcloud mix. Perfect music for a depressing Sunday night.
  4.  (9721.94)
Selections from Tori Amos's Little Earthquakes, Warpaint's The Fool, bouncing on from the Sharon Van Etten and Julliana Barwick from earlier in the week.

Electronic-wise, Jacques Greene's 'Another Girl' is purrfect lazy summer slo-house listening. Night Slugs affiliates Mosca and Kingdom for party vibes. Hyetal's 'Phoenix'. Instra:Mental's 'When I Dip'. Addison Groove's 'Work It'.
  5.  (9721.95)
I just found this album and I can't turn it off!

    Monster Zoku Onsomb!

i'm about to put on Money by Skeletons, after wanting to listen to it all day. (i really have to get a new fm transmitter for the car, dammit.)
but before i do that i'm listening to the 8tracks mix i made a few days ago, when i was all jubilant at being rich and carefree.

I'm just discovering GZA's Liquid Sword (better late than never).

And although these are out for some time, I listen everyday to some tracks of:

    The National - High Violet
Kanye West - My beautiful dark twisted fantasy
