    I just love throwing the S word around.

    Also, I finally graduated past the level of the starter lens! I got a sweet low-light lens and I am in total lust with the DOF.

    I have been to Southend again and i've seen what he's up to, the world must be told before it's too late. Hiding it in plain sight - lift be damned, that's no lift, that's his... Officer? I feel very sleepy all of a sudden, and my arms seem to be stuck...

    I tried to warn them...

    Ah ha! Here we go again. Also: Was happy to see the Whitechapel version of gear talk in the last Photos&Photogs thread.

    The comments (and the links in them) there are excellent too. As one of the commenters points out, this kind of thing has been going on for decades won't stop as long as there are photographers stupid or starstruck enough to go along with it. Promoters, publicists would charge photographers just for being there if they could.

    Have any of the pros here had run-ins like this or faced such onerous contracts?

    If Lady Gaga won't let you use her photo, just run a 25-year-old photo of Madonna instead. No one will notice the difference - she has based her entire career on that fact.

    Has anybody done even semi-serious or professional photo retouching or manipulation with iPad? Any recommendations for good Apps for that?

    Actually, on Vorn's note, does anyone know if there's been any progress made in the Adobe Lightroom app? That would actually be the thing that makes me buy an iPad, I think...

    Cher + Madonna = Lady Gaga

    the only difference is that everyone could name a Cher or Madonna song, whereas most people know who Lady Gaga is, but not all of those people could name one of her songs.

    back to photography, which iPhone camera apps are people digging? I'm thinking of trying one out, but don't know which one to get first.

    (Madonna/.5) * Leigh Bowery = Lady Gaga.

    I've been liking SlowShutter, CrossProcess and Instagram on the iPhone.

    being super busy this week, i have very little to add at this point except the below.

    I do have to say i love the design of this product, except for the manditory french/english sticky label that totally doesn't match the packaging. But that's how things roll up here, apparently.

    @oldhat: Surprisingly... yes!

    I've been jonesing for this for a while, actually, and having trained myself with Sailor Jerry's i wasn't disappointed. The two could do battle in my booze cabinet, really.

    I"d recommend doing a search on LCBO's website. Some locations are better stocked than others. I got this bottle at the Don Mills Shoppes location.
