    This nice little convention kind of sneaks up on me every year. This time around I managed to remember to look up the details more than two weeks early.

    It's Happening on April 16th and 17th this year, with a couple of parties on Friday night.

    And the event has moved from a hotel to the Portland Convention Center.

    Also, there's a WItch Doctor art show at Sequential Art Gallery in downtown for the month of April. The opening's tonight during First Thursday, from 6 to 10 pm!

    I'm on the Horror Comics Introspective panel Sunday, along with Scott Allie, Shawna Gore and SPECIAL SECRET GUESTS (Eric Powell and Rick Remender, as far as I know). Lukas and I are also moderating the "Sneaking Into Comics" panel, featuring Nate "Nonplayer" Simpson, Joe Keatinge (former Image PR dude), Dark Horse submissions editor John Schrock, and writer Joshua Williamson.

    Lukas and I are also at table E-15, and we'll be selling the Con-exclusive Witch Doctor preview issue Skybound put out last summer.

    Had fun at the Comic Fest this afternoon. Saw some good panels; dropped $100 in the dealer's room.

    The new venue was kind of odd. The 'fest was definitely too big for the hotel down the street, but seemed overwhelmed by the gigantic convention center.

    Yes, bought the latest Witch Doctor iteration. Can't wait for it to to go into regular production!

    Highlight was Ethan Nicolle and his editor's presentation about Axe Cop.

    Bummer: Forgot my camera.
