That I could live with. As long as there are photos. Like, say, these squirrels I recently acquired:

We need a new cooking thread. In the WorldWeird category, maybe, to avoid sudden deaths?

I mean, I can't be the only one who wants a recipe for that, can I?

    There's no crying in Whitechapel.

Recipe: buy squirrels, fill squirrels with stuffing of choice, tie-up squirrels like creepy little bondage embryos, cook squirrels, devour squirrels, remember that the "rules" thread isn't the place for this, GET ANGRY AT SELF, force aggressive bladder-seeking larvae down own peewee, wank and piss and sob and scream all at once, reassert dominance over increasingly uppity Whitechapel minions, PRESS THE BUTTON THAT DESTROYS THE UNIVERSE. Repeat.

I know Ariana is a busy-busy-go-go lady, but I suppose she'd be the best one to direct this to:
These spammers seem to be getting bolder and more numerous than they used to be. How difficult would it be to implement at least some barrier to entry for non-humans (assuming they aren't being directly controlled; I don't know much about spamming)? You know, like a Captcha on the registration screen, or something.

Probably bringing up something someone's been considering anyway, but I thought I'd at least put the question out there.

I don't think we've really got captcha-levels of spam. In fairness, I'm not catching, deleting, and banning quite as fast as I used to do (and Warren's not in several times every day to catch the rest) -- but we're still *so* quiet on the spam front, comparatively.

Yeah, I definitely know that. And I'm sure no one is upset that you're slow on the justice. I think it just might be a little jarring for me (us?) to go from very-nearly zero spammers to a handful of them jabbering away. No worries!
