While I'd be very happy to see a dozen pages of the visual effects Thud asks for, I'd rather it not be at the expense of a two-week gap in the storytelling. Just another facet of the tyranny of the serial medium.
Just came from a vacation in Paris! it was wonderful!
Great hepisode, we see more of Mark (who also spilled the beans) and we see also that FA are coming to terms with reality. And Arkady and Connor are becoming an item! Lovely!
I just want to comment that my wife is a Freakangels addict. I don't know how to convey the gravity of that prior sentence.
For 15 years I've tried to get her to read comics (and Asimov) and for 15 years she's ignored me completely. She's something of a web designer and I pointed her to freakangels.com to show her what "a webcomic site done right" looks like.
A day later the laundry isn't done, the children are filthy, the dog is hungry (we don't have a dog) and there's some smell coming from under the sink. And there she is, head on hands, nose three inches from her iMac, reading Freakangels. And she talks about it. She has angst about the story and the characters. "How can it be done soon?", she says. "What's next?" she asks. "Where do we get the published versions so I can put them up on the shelf?"
