What’s happening with Dodgem Logic at the moment is that with issue eight, which will be the next one to come out - a little bit later than normal, we’re sending it to print the middle of next month – issue eight will be the last issue for a while. This is because Dodgem Logic has been entirely funded with my money, and we have not yet managed to break even....

Funny, really: I was thinking about magazines either before or at the same time as both Alan and Mark. I decided I didn't have the time or money because I'm still a writer first and anything that stopped me writing was going to make me sad or angry in the end. The problem with it was that it tried to work in the spirit and style of an underground zine but with the budget of a glossy. That was always going to be a bit of a money sink really. It's no big surprise that it didn't last, although it probably would have been okay with even a few pages of ads. But that's Alan. To say a word about dodgem, i bought the first 2 issues and stopped for the same reasons you explained, i liked the concept though and it's sad that a project that Mr Moore's believe in had to stop this way.

I'm curious to watch the artifictization of copies of Dodgem Logic, as intact copies dwindle in number. What we’re doing after that is we will be putting original content up on the website, which we’re redesigning to make it more user-friendly, ’cause it was very pretty before, but not necessarily easy for people to use. thats why i only bought the first 3. i flipped through later ones and it didnt appear to be much to really interest me. they were a little pricey so i didnt want to keep it up, and i sold them on ebay for about what i paid...turns out it was a whitechapel fellow (which one? i honestly dont remember right now).

Yeah he's really just saying that he made a lot of mistakes with print, I guess it's just me thinking that the online route is a more appropriate way to communicate probably because I am unable to afford magazines and would like to think that other poor or unsuspecting users might also be exposed to the wonderful weirdness. Alan is certainly getting hip to this stuff though, I'm excited to see the redesign
