Think of "The Complex" as a giant onion with a near infinite number of layers and each layer is a different reality/ dimension.

"The Complex" has been invaded by evil robots that enslave/ destroy the human lives contained in each reality/ layer.

The hero Duncan Dash must travel to the center of "The Complex", through the many different dimensions to purge the evil robot menace. Along the way he recruits followers to help.
