I mean, we're the people giving the entire freak angles world life, by reading it, right? We're the omnipotent kids (relatively, to the web and this format of web comics for profit in particular) shaking things up and fucking things up, with good intent and blunt hands, aren't we?

That and, as the series is clearly coming to a climax, it served as a really nice "here's a last safe moment before the final drop on the awesome roller-coaster ride freak angels has been."
