    It's Friday, it's FREAKANGELS.

Hello Whitechapel. Who's managed to catch a Spring cold from the weather suddenly dropping? I don't think I saw a single person yesterday that didn't have the plague. Everyone here doing all right?

Alice just keeps on getting smarter and smarter. Mind you, she was pretty smart to begin with.

We all thought Mark's thoughts at 14 were ominous foreshadowing - maybe they're non-ominous after all?

What is this Spring you speak of? (Actually today looks like we're gonna have some real spring type sunshine.)
I love Alice. My favorite line this week is on the second page.

BUT CAN I PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE AND THEN YOU CAN UNDO IT LATER? COULD I DO THAT A LOT? YOU KNOW, SO YOU CAN PRACTISE AND THAT.

Just a small niggle though, when Alice is leaving she has the gun going up the stairs, but it's disappeared when she gets to the street.

@kperkins - Look close. It's actually on her back. You can see the barrel sticking up by her head.

So, Connor maybe thinks if they fix the Country, they won't survive? The whole exchange between Connor and Alice made my heart sink a little... this is making me sad that we'll have an ending soon.

I'm hopeful for some Spring... wait, what is Spring? All I know is rain.

    Have a great day, everybody.

    Edit
Okay, so reading it again, maybe if they can fix the Country, they'll leave and never be heard from again... that would be a great ending, albeit sad.
Page 3 makes me so sad. Connor could barely look Alice in the eyes. Great, now I'm depressed.

Nice episode, not much longer to go, eh?

I just got my first kilt (from altkilt.com) and tomorrow I'll be moving to the big city. I'm pretty great, actually.

I'm still sleepy, so reading things very horizontally at the moment, but page 3 struck me as a very strangely meta-moment; of Warren thanking us-the-reader (and giving us a hug) for saving web-comics in general, and one of his own start ups -freak angels- in particular.

I mean, we're the people giving the entire freak angles world life, by reading it, right? We're the omnipotent kids (relatively, to the web and this format of web comics for profit in particular) shaking things up and fucking things up, with good intent and blunt hands, aren't we?

That and, as the series is clearly coming to a climax, it served as a really nice "here's a last safe moment before the final drop on the awesome roller-coaster ride freak angels has been."

So, Thank-you Warren, can't wait to see where this is going next!

    $00.02,
    Phill

I wonder if Alice 'heard' Connor's response?

I'm on 2 hrs sleep. Girlfriend drunkenly fell ass-first into a glass-framed art piece a friend had given me and I spent a few hours doing first aid (read: pulling glass out of my girlfriend's ass, and then disinfecting her with rubbing alcohol) while she screamed bloody murder. Now I know the true meaning of love folks.

I got so busy today, posting in the threads, I had forgotten it was Friday. What a pleasant surprise to realize I had 6 pages of new comics to read! I was having a shitty day, it's getting better.

Seeing some sort of closure thing happening... not quite a LOST ending, unsure how to describe it... something circular, cyclical perhaps? Maybe a bit of a paradox when they fix the world, it never happened? I know my words are failing me. Someone follow my line of thinking here?

Connor must be an awful liar if Alice could tell. I couldn't even guess what he was supposed to be lying about. But we're all on the wavelength of not expecting the Angels to survive this huh? Well I still say they're immortal judging by how they're going to inevitably become time-travelling creatures of pure energy. But it may be that when that happens they disappear as far as the rest of the world is concerned. And it may be that it's going to happen now.

"Connor must be an awful liar if Alice could tell."

It's the only time he didn't look her in the eyes.

I'm guessing Connor was going by the 'Angels conversation he had during upgrade. Doing the fix may require them to step out of time, to some place eternal where Alice can't go. Maybe. *sigh* Either way the sausage is made he didn't want Alice to be there for it so he convinced her to leave. And she's got enough civility in her to go along with it. I kinda think that was included in her gratitude, not just her material life, but her existence as a social person. She didn't end life as a drone for Mark, she didn't end up as a post-apocalyptic barbarian, but a handy, sharp chick from Manchester. *sniffle*smile*

I really do like Arkady being all clear-headed. }:>

Supposed to be summery this weekend, but its overcast right now. I don't mind. I don't want to jump into the heat just yet. This weekend shall be the weekend of madness. Plans on top of plans and if one little thing goes wrong... (oh and I have exactly one dollar in the bank). Madness.

Things are getting good and I am a little sad. But all good things must come to an end.

I love how Caz is the one making this suggestion; she's one of my favorites but doesn't seem to get a lot of panel time.

Anyway, over here, we watched the royal wedding live at around 6pm local time. I don't know how you Brits feel about the monarchy, but you have to admit that they just made good TV for all romantics everywhere.

In other news, I'm updating my computer to the newly-released Ubuntu 11.04. Hope it all goes off without a hitch.

Why just now when I discovered freakangels this need to finish?

Connor is so cute. And Alice is fabulous.

fall arrived here this week with all the strenght. It's becoming really cold.
