@Hey Apathy: Yeah I meant brush on the computer. If I had had time I guess I could have just used the brushes I had on hand and then scanned it in over the top. But yeah I draw these on paper, an then do all of the coloring on the machine. Your city scapes are insane. If you can replicate that stuff in your 3D city stuff, it's going to be insane.
@ mercurial- cool, I was pretty sure the drawings were done on paper they probably look awesome raw & uncolored too. & thanks the 3D technology we have right now is limited but the goal is definitely full force insanity.
never should have had that coffee 5 hours ago, the sun's coming up and I'm finally slowing down.
Inspired by my new housemates who have decided that the no smoking rule doesn't apply to them when a) they think no one else is home, b) they think everyone else is asleep, c) it is raining outside and d) if they are entertaining company
@mo: Noice! @mojo: The fanny pack is the best part, hahaha! @kyle: I showed that cover to my partner, and she was like "wow I really like those old covers the best"--so you fooled her. Really funny, really great. @Hey Apathy: I want to see your cities square off against one another, Godzilla style.
This is the last of that series I did the other day, and finished coloring yesterday:
@mercurialblonde Wow! You just made my day! I love counterfeiting old stuff, nice to know that it's starting to pass. Haha
Your work is so striking. I've been noticing it in the threads since I started posting again. Reminds me of Dave McKean. The images really stick with me. Keep'em coming.
