Dude, seriously. Stick with the gratitude. That sounds like a miracle you got out in one piece. More power to you and bear hugs too.

@GovernmentSpy, seriously. Glad you're physically alright, and here's hoping for a speedy psychological recovery.

Jeez, GovernmentSpy, I'm glad that you're physically okay. Get some proper rest when you can.

Thanks guys. Been a nice relaxing day off of house cleaning. Good for the soul. Then, went with my in-alcoholism-recovery-girlfriend to see a movie with a friend. They decided on Everything Must Go with Will Ferrell. No idea that the whole movie was all about Ferrell's character being a very sad alcoholic. Not the most uplifting film for us at this specific time, though it was very good.

@government spy VERY glad you're alright.

Amazing voice class tonight. Fuckin brilliant actually because I got to meet Wendee "Faye Valentine" Lee (she signed my DVD case & one of the DVDs) and shook her hand. She was very encouraging and kind. Later on met and talked with Lynnanne "new voice of Computer in Star Trek" Zager. All more or less because they were in the same building doing voice over...stuff. Also nailed down some good ideas for going forward and I can't wait to get to work on more stuff.

    Fuck yeah.

@govspy - Echoing the sentiments here. Take care.

Wait, I think I hear some thundering hooves approaching this way. Duck & cover?

@govspy - Good Gods man! Glad you are safe (let's be honest, you provide a lot of the entertainment here and isn't my being entertained what's important?) Have you considered a less dangerous line of work, like perhaps enlisting?

I got my best friend to actually start layouts on the comic script I gave him in 2007. Looking at it now, the script is rough and I need to do a rewrite, but hey progress. We've only been talking about doing a comic together for more than half our lives, so it's pretty cool to see something happen. At this rate, expect to see the two issue story in comic shops near you some time in the 2030s.

@GovernmentSpy: Will echo the comments about being glad you're OK, but also: Good grief sir, you can sure write one hell of a fight scene. I look forward to one day reading your memoirs...

Our fellow Whitechapeler Sonny wrote a really nice review of my new EP. This was pretty much the best thing that happened all week, I feel like he really got what I was trying to say. Thanks man! Properly made my day.

@GovernmentSpy: Glad you're still around and kicking. Sounds terrifying. I hope you get some good rest from that.

As for me, things are going good. The weather has been much warmer and actually summer like, which after the spring we've had is very much appreciated. And I've got a wedding to go to this weekend - my second cousin is getting married. So I'm looking forward to getting dolled up for that.

My awesome! Getting my copy of 'Strange Adventures' signed by Lauren Beukes (along with a copy of her Zoo City, of course) whilst getting accosted by her sloth scarf! It was also Lauren's first experience at signing a comic book!! ( She wrote the 'All The Pretty Ponies' story...)

I just heard Robert Kirkman plug @brandoncyphered and Witch Doctor on the Nerdist podcast. I said "Holy shit! I know people who know that dude!"

@govspy--I hope you put in for some vacation after that shit.
