Re Millenium eye thing... not something I know much about other than it's a giant Ferris wheel that was added to sites of London a dozen years ago. So... I'm assuming a few people - adult-sized - can fit into a pod?
Alice gun is gone. Made me blink but the exchange with whoever is inside really made me feel tense. Yeah, a big change. It's uncomfortable. Like I'll have to bite my lip for at least another week.

Next Friday will be lovely. Three more shows of the play I'm stage managing this weekend. I'm a little resentful because my Japanese class has me utterly stressed but I'll have to step away from studying for three days. But I'll close the play on Sunday and study my ass off over the following three and a half days. Try not to bomb the final... and then S L E E P. And reread maybe the whole last book and all the recent episodes. Ah that will be wonderful. }:> -

@razrangel - yep, about 25 people can get in one of the pods. It's a big old wheel. -

Ah, thanks Jon. that IS huge. Somewhere between an airport shuttle and a subway car. Bigger than most streetcars, anyway (antique term to distinguish from buses or limos).

That last panel kinda made the tears well up a little. Great stuff, as usual, Warren. And thanks for continuing to outdo yourself, Paul. Page 5, panel 1, I turned to Liz and said, "Someone drew that. Someone made that. Jesus Christ."

I know i've said it before but it bears repeating, Freakangels is really quite wonderful, the writing, the art, even the way it's presented on the internets. And all for free, which is quite wonderful too. My thanks to you all. -
@VertigoJones I had a thing like that last year, turned out to be all the muscles in my back and chest tensing up and cramping at the same time. I hope you can find the cause of your chest pains and get well!
