Haha, I thought the FreakRapture was quite apt... going to have to find a new friday ritual when this is over.

My garden's quite neat right now, or at least as neat as it gets. I fight the neatness, I like it wilder. My roses are coming out and my vegetables are starting to grow...

This was the first episode in ages I haven't seen as soon as it came out, have been so stupidly busy at work - was given the corporate internal magazine to manage last week, haven't worked with print for nine years, so am getting back to grips with proofs and flatplans and production schedules and arguments with designers. And I still have an intranet and several other things to manage too. And no more people or hours in the day. Oh god. Is it too late for me to apply to be Raptured? Maybe if I find a true believer and hold onto their ankles as they're floating up?

@MrMonk: No, I didn't construe it that way at all - I don't think Alice is starting to FORGET - I think Alice is starting to put all the pieces together, at least as far as realizing that it was the FA's who CAUSED the whole mess.

Are they turning into the version that we see in Luke's death vision?

@blindside - Ending at episode 144. Six full volumes.

I don't really want it to end either. :-(

Seems obvious to me, they're destroying everything again, right? The first time they destroyed everything with no clear goal in mind, but since then, a new world has been built. They're destroying that world in an attempt to turn back the clock, but there *is* no way back, only a way forward. Their rebuilding is a destruction, kind of like tearing up a park to build a shopping mall.

Seems an apt theme though, just as this whole comic is an act of creation, ending it will simultaneously complete that creation and destroy the world where this community waits weekly and marvels over the awesomeness of each release.
